Flame of Recca

I have come across a FTP that has the entire series of Flame of Recca avalible for download...

Having never seen any of it, I was wondering what people who have seen it think of it..If so, I guess me and my modem will have some serious downloading to do...

First 10 or so eps...ok

Next 30 eps...utter crap. Crappy art, crappy animation, and moreonver, crappy storyline. It looks like the character artists changes every two or so eps...with so many changes, you'd think they'd actually get one who could draw, wouldn't you?

Animation is utterly rubbish...they blantantly repeat the same static crowd scenes over and over... And to top it off, the whole story pretty much turns into a fight-per-episode thing.

Download the first 15 eps if you want, but personally I think you'd be wasting your time and bandwidth to be downloading any more. Then again, if you're a Yuyuhakusho or Dragonball fan, you'll probably love Flame of Rectum. They showed a bit of it at AJAS but Mark pretty much stopped screening it because he couldn't stand having to watch it any more. I have the whole series but I refuse to distribute anymore it because I don't want to have to watch it either :P Yes, I feel quite strongly about Flame of Recca ^^;

He does that quit often still, but for some reason he showed the entire series of Brain Powerd, even when we threatened him with mutiny :lol:

yes, d/l the first 15 eps would be nice atleast it would give you a feel/idea of what flame of Recca is all about. who knows you might get hooked and d/l the entire series :lol:

but what exactly was the first 15 eps all about? i've seen the whole series but i cant totally remember :heh:

I started watching episode 1 and after a while realised I have a AMV using the same footage along with Offspring's "Feelings"

Anyway, since then I have d/l 10 eps, and have decided to d/l the lot, rather than wish I had later...

After all, I'm a DragonBallZ fan....But the ones they are screening now are just plain dull...

I dl'd the whole lot. The way that the story gets killed off in favour of fight scenes does suck but I thought it was pretty good. Sometimes I like to watch an Anime where I don't have to think too hard. I thought that the characters were pretty good and the animation not bad. It wasnt up to the modern standards but it conveyed well. Oh and by the way I like Flame of Recca but I cant stand DBZ, go figure
