What happened to the 2nd DVD?

I was looking around online and every where I've looked said the 2nd Blue Seed DVD which was scheduled to release on 3/27 is now scheduled to release in August.

Anyone know what happened?

As I was quite disappointed by the delay.

I don't know what the exact reason is, but since ADV is doing it it doesn't surprise me. They did the same thing with NGE between the 1st and 2nd DVDs. Maybe all the voice actors are busy with the Eva movie and can't do it. At least it's 7 episodes on the next one. I'm sure the Action channel will play Blue Seed again before all the DVDs are out.

August? I heard July, but hell it's just ADV being a ***** about release dates again. I wouldn't put up with them ordinarily, but they have this habit of acquiring the series I want to see, so... Who knows why ADV does anything. But since this is a series they already comnpleted, it can't be a problem with the voice actors.

That's a good point about the VA's. Wasn't thinking.

I don't know what the reason is, but it probably has something to do with money.

i was hearing things about a negotiation over the release of the foreigh region DVDs and thus the completion of the US/Canada/South America regions

... from what i hear the original DVDs were already released in Japan and the Asian/Middle Eastern Areas... (the hybrids with both dub/sub) and then they were to be done in this region. for some technical reason, the DVDs are not ready.
