The game that Aisha was so obsorbed by playing the gameboy, like the rest of the "Outlaw Star" Universe, is an affectionate parody. Whereas the setting at large is a parody of Asian culture, the game is a parody of the Romantic Simulation game, which is pioneered by the tender and sweet classic "Tokimeki Memorial" on Earth in 1994 AD.

I don't blame you for not understanding. After all, this game has been "out of print" since 1997.

Well it IS a game targeted at sexually and/or romantically frustrated late to post adolescent males, and Gene Starwind IS only 20 years old.
