Oh My GOD!!!! I love that song...the long version...IT's So COOl!!! I know all the words (that's easy) and I listen to it all the time!!! One question I have to ask though, is who's the singer and is she japanese?

The singer is Boa, she's Asian (I'm not sure what nationality--she could be like fifth gen American for all I know, I just know what she looks like). Probably Japanese, but I'm really not sure.

yup, when I get bored...or just feel like it, I usually end up singing that song....*sigh*...I need to put it on another cd!!!! unfortunately, I suck at singing *whaaaahaaahaaa*:bawling:
but still....it creeps me out, because my parents like the song, and wouldn't believe that I though it might be a japanese woman (that was what I was told), and my mom was convinced she'd heard the song somewhere...somehow....
just to ask though, is the show...pretty good...it just seems a little different, or depresing...is there much humor? or violence...?

In my opinion, to fully enjoy the show you have to pay attention to the details and the words. There is next to no humor, hardly any violence of the physical kind, and lots to think about. And oh yes...it's different. ;)

I believe BOA is a British band. The singer may be Asian, but BOA's background is in old England, unless I'm misinformed.

And it is a great song, and perfectly matches with the beautiful opening! :)

Jasmine, the lead singer for BoA is not asian... BoA is a British band, but they have released a CD in the US, titled Twilight. It has all the songs that were on "Race a Thousand Camels," which was the British/Japanese release title. BoA has many more supurb songs, my favs are Twilight and Elephant. The CD also has an awesome Duvet remix with guitar. I found my Twilight CD at best buy. Ja!
