Talking about DBZ, today's TV review by Jenny Tabakoff in the Sydney Morning Herald has this to say:

"... a bit like a combination of Futurama and Dragonballz. Actually it looks OK in a computer-animated kind of way..." and gives it a thumbs up, with the ignorant comment to "hand the children the remote control and leave the room." :P

have watched the first 15 minutes now, its not bad but not great, frankly this is my first reaction to any Anime shows, I did it with Neon Genesis and Dragonball Z but I love those shows now, at the moment there is a giant orange robot thing going around the place, I was a bit dissapointed till now, frankly I cant see an Anime show being Anime unless its got a giant Robot somewhere in there.
Now some chick in a purple suit is bashing the crap out of the robot, even better :)

your probably right bout the suit, actually its most likely your right, after all,thats the first time ive ever seen the show so what would I know, anyways my current opinion of the show is its ok, thats probably cause im not quite sure who the main character/s is/are yet but I have some idea it was that woman talking to that other woman on the bike at the end.
Anyways I'll check the site you recommended out and learn a bit more.

well I dun quite know all those Characters yet but my brother taped the episode so I watched it again this morning and I now think highly of the show, but im still learning the names.
But now that I watched it a second time and the story seems to make more sense now.
As I suspected this is going along the same lines as Dragonball Z and Neon Genesis ( I thought the shows were kinda dull cause I didnt understand anything but ended up loving the series).
