OMG...Trigun is a Cult!

I kid you not. I was at ACEN this weekend in Chicago (Anime Convention).

There were two killer Vash Cosplays...(damn running out of film) but anyways. Here is what I cant believe. After one of the Vash Cosplayers was on stage during the performances, he said "Love and Peace!" Well duh...even I, someone who hasnt seen Trigun yet knew about that, but the respons from the crowd was amazing.

The crowd was in unison...well I know after that experiance I'm going to have to put my new DVD player to good use and pick me up some Trigun :D

Oh and also POCKY is a cult as well...its like the Got Milk of the anime world, I had no idea how popular a silly snack could be hehe.

my friend got some picks with a very good vash and wolfwood at fanimecon who were in 3 different skits in the performance part.

OH yeah...there were Two...one was KILLER! His coat was exact, makes me wonder if it wasnt special ordered. His hair was a bit too short...but Vash's is quite long anyways.

Larva, my friend on the board has video and hopefuly we can get some Captures of the Vash Cosplay for you guys. But you will have to look in the Cosplay for them or this thread might get moved like my Slayers one did :mad:

this one had the coat about the same hight as an estimate, i could not tell but i think he had the glasses, but the hair was a little to short. and the wolfwood also was nearly perfect.

:lol: I kid you not I wholeheartedly agree with Neo. I think there was more people cosplaying as a Trigun character at acen then any other series (well except for maybe one or two other shows)

And did you hear the covorbands' remake of the Trigun opening? :jdrop: Good lord I never heard it sound so good. Now everytime i pop in Trigun and listen to the opening song i think back at how good the S.W.E.Ks' rendition of the song was. The way the performed it just totally rocked the house. I mean they played it twice b/c people wanted to hear it. Think anyone was recording it? I really want it on MP3.... :D

Not bad...but that Wolfwood cosplay looks like my friend...
