Konno Mitsune (or Kitsune)

Every girls at Hinata-sou get at least one episode dedicated to themselves where they explain their story....except one,Kitsune.

All we know about her is that she went to school with Narusegawa and is her best friend.Other than that she only drinks sake and try to match Keitaro and Narusegawa...But where did she come from?What are her goals in life?What does she do during the day except bother other people?

Kitsune, like Aunt Haruka suffers from the "Tendo Nabiki" syndrome; in that any female lead that shows any "adult" maturity or wit is neglected in character development over the cute, "normal" girls.

Yeah,she even wanted to be Sarah's mother...Maybe because she had nothing to do lol.She's more of a carefree person anyway.I don't see her with a husband and kid at all :lol:

I expect that in the near future she'll be settling the marital disputes between Keitaro and Narusegawa :lol:

That episode showed a side to Kitsune that i think would not have been shown. Personally I think she would have made a good mother to Sarah if given the chance. Yes usually shes carefree, however in no other episode did she show any sort of concern except that episode. She was being dead serious when she said that which is why i say she could have made a good mother to sarah. eh.... :p

She did show much concern for Naru's mental welfare in episode 14 in actively preventing her potentially traumatic reunion with Seta.

Mitsune's caring, motherly nature is much more pronounced in the Manga than in the Anime. However, that scene on the island when she held Sara like a daughter was easily one of the most touching scenes in the series

I remember there was one epidsode dedicated to Kitsune, don't remember which one but it goes like this. Keitaro was asleep Kitsune came into the room wake him up push him into the bathroom to clean up. Then starts these elaborate scenes, chasing everybody around the house to search for the money Keitaro lost. Just to show how careless Keitaro was with the money, and for her to play Sherlock Holmes because she was bored.

It did star Kitsune but it was not about her.All we know is that when she's bored she messes with other people's lives

Like Shinobu, Kitsune's role is that of a passive Ying of (relative) normality to complement the maniacally hyperactive Yang of the other girls in the Hinata Inn.

I read the manga and it's Keitaro that work's at a bar where he found Kitsune drunk.

....sigh. But she ultimately means well, so you can't really hate her.
