In episode 21. Grave of the Dragon/The Dragon's Tombstone, Melfina sings Hiru no Tsuki ( I think I spelled that right) or "the english dub song". Where did she learn the song? Was it programmed in her? Did she "feel" it from the planet or possibly the ruins due to her connection to the leyline? I just thought this might be interesting to speculate upon...

it could only have been a song programed into her memory, otherwise she prob picked it up from her travels with Gene....... or like you said she just made it up and sang it..... :D

Maybe it was Gwen Khan's favorite song and he programmed it into her subconscious!

Good question. I never thought of that before. Dude, that is strange. I've got to figure that out now. Where did Melfina learn that song? Hmmm.... :dodgy:

It's the commands that turn Melfina on and off.

Considering that the Lay Line is something of an extragalactic nature, mabye it was a song she was given by the Maiden of the Line.

My other threoy is that she thought up the words as she went along…

This is used a lot with Rappers…

She's got a song in her heart to help with the pain of being a robot.

She's not a robot… Nor a bio-android…

Maybe the song was encoded into her DNA... after, the way to the layline was...

Melfina

but why incode someone with a song??? it just doesn't make sense. i'm going with the idea that melfina sang what was in her heart, after all, she does have a brain u know. she can think up a song!

I think it is safe to say that any theory we can come up with as to the nature of this song will have both right and parts... the only way we could end this argument is to ask... The Lay Line!
