so my question is, who else has finished this series and what did you think of the end? i'll post my opinion when other people, we wouldn't want people to stumble accross this now do we? :D

I loved the last batch of episodes. I think 23,24 and 26 were amazing. I really liked what they were trying do in episode 25, but I don't think it was executed all that well. The DVD is supposed to be released in 10 days time, it will be good to get everyone's opinions then about the series.

Lol i saw the series a little over half a year ago. I really like the final stages that lead up to..... V v K (sorry if it becomes a spoiler) I really enjoyed the ending of this series and i think its one of the better resolutions a story can come too :)

personally the only thing i didn't like about the ending is that absolutly ALL of your questions are answered, and answered too directly.

Then I guess that you want some mystery at the end. But there are other things to discuss other than the end of the series.

probably not, seeing as vash picked him up and put him on his sholder. i think if knives was dead, vash would have buried him.

Dang.... I just finished High noon... what a trip. I definitely think Meryll loves Vash and i hope Knives will change his way.I thought for sure Vash was about to kill him... but he gave him a second chance? Holy SH*T was all i could think! Ok now to go back and read all of your posts. Hahahahaha. :D

By now, it is obvious that Meryll has fallen in love with Vash; all that thinking, the silence she went though and things she did to take care of him.
To me, it was no suprise that Knives lived; it would go against his way by killing him. Knives was truly saved at the end.

for me, i knew that vash would kill knives as vash had already killed legato, so killing knives probably would be as dramtic as the creators would have liked. besides, vash had several open options outside of killing knives.
