Naga fans

im a real big fan of the great big breasted wonder Naga the Serpent, ive loved her since the first time i saw her in Slayers. she has to be the greatest female ever in anime! just wanted to know if there are any other Naga fans like me!

Although she is not my altime fav character, I think Naga is really funny!!! She really is a great partner for Lina, in that their personalities are so diifferect!...in the first movie...they acted almost as if they knew each other...did they...and if so, what was before that...?

yeah, I'm more of an Amelia fan, but she's my #2 favorite! I love her laugh. It's so kakoi!!!

Just an observation, but Naga isn't shown on any of the Slayers boxsets I've seen in stores. When does Naga show up? Is she only in the Movies and OAVs or something?

correct, from what i gather on the boards naga is only lina's traveling partner in the ova and movies.

Yep, none of Lina's companions from the 3 tv series appear in the OAV's or movies and Naga never shows in the tv series.

There are two lines of thought on why. One I heard is a difference in the licenses. It indicated that the people who make the OAVs and the people who make the series have different licensing rights to what characters they can use. I'm not 100% sure about this since I always assumed they were from there same company.

The other reason :

is because Naga is the sister of Amelia and is the heir to the throne. They can't have them meet because Amelia will realise who she is.

naga= stupidity +Making fun of Lina + clumsiness
gourry= stupidity+Protecting Lina + dexterity and endurance
now if clumsiness and dexterity both result in destruction
then the equation becomes
naga+gourry=2 stupidity + 0 + 2 destruction

Also a negating factor
Naga= breasts
Gourry= no breasts

But really back to the main point of this post, I only seen the slayers movie, I liked naga, and im really curious as to how different the regular slayers is since naga is not there. And i would think i would miss naga since i watch the ova first and am used to her presence.
