Initial D is still going...it's up to 3rd stage atm, I believe.

It's not licensed in the West, and I think it will probably sink into the mass of anime like Slam Dunk and GTO which is really popular in Asia but never reaches here for some reason.

It IS available as fansubs...I'm not sure where you're located, but if you're in the US, Fansub Files have subbed up to ep 12 (3 tapes) and there are a couple of distros that have it...Sekihougumi or Sachi's are the most relaible to order from. If you're over in Australia, I've subbed up to ep 16 (4 tapes).
