Anyone stuck in an RPG? need help?

Hi, yep I have a question. I´m wondering where you find Omega Weapon when you´re in Ultimecia´s Castle?
I´ve been running around there not knowing where to look for it etc.
Could you help?

Hiya Yalind.... yes... I can help you... welll here goes my typin/thinkin cap...

[puts cap on from where it was put yestarday and leans back into chair...]

Okay... you should first beat all of the bosses in Ultimecia's Castle first... meaning you haveta beat Crysta, Gargantua, Red Giant, Catoblepas, Trauma, Sphinxar/Sphinxara, and Tripoint...

Now... remember that purple cloud you see inside the chapel/ church like structure? that is Omega Weapon...you should set up your battle party at the switch point (the green glowing rings found throughout the castle) to the chapel as you can which is the one right in front of the chapel (by the fountain...)...

Now... switch to your other party that is not your battle party which is at the switchpoint in front of the chapel... then look for a rope so you can ring a bell... (not sure how to describe where to find the bell... will do the best I can...)

The bellrope can be found in a large room with 2 floors... the stairs go from the top and curve from the right down to the bottom... it should have another switch point located by the base of the stairs... In order to summon Omega Weapon... you haveta ring the bell that can be sort of seen on the ceiling (if you are on the top floor...)... to do this, you have to take the leader of your non-battle party and pull the rope which is at the base (left) of the stairs...
[!!!You might wanna see if you can find the bell before starting this sequence of events!!!]

If you do it correctly, then a message should appear stating "Monsters can be heard roaring far away" and then a timer starts to tick in the top left corner of the screen... now hurry and switch to the battle party located at the front of the chapel and run inside... you should see the silvery version of Ultima Weapon which is Omega Weapon...

HINT: you might wanna save and refine your Laguna and Gilgamesh card if you wanna try to beat Omega Weapon on your first try... he is VERY hard if you don't use Heroes and Holy Wars... then cast meltdown on Omega, then cast Aura on Squall, then use a holywar and keep on pummeling Omega with the Rezozuken and pray that Squall will link up with the Lionheart limit break...

[IMPORTANT!!!: just to let you know... all magic attacks will be absorbed by Omega except for maybe meteor, flare, and ultima? I'm not sure but I advise you not to use any magic except for aura, cure & life spells (on your party of course...), and meltdown which you should use on Omega as least as you can... by the way, no status effects affect him... *.* sucks huh...]

Okay, Card Question for FF8. If you miss getting Laguna's Card from Ellone in the Lunar Base, is it possible to get it from her at a later date? Because the rules there are just impossible.

before going to Ultimecia's Castle you have to go out into the brave new world in the Ragnarok and pick up card players scattered all over. Once you have them you can get any card in the game (apparently), each player reflects the rules of different regions. As for card tips, if you lose over and over the rules for the region are dropped one by one, bye bye &*(^%* random!

I hate the random rule, when you only get one of youe best cards and the rest are crap, so you lose your best card!

Yes the random rule is £$%@£$% anoying. I had to reset a couple of times to get all the cards in the space station w/o losing some of my rare cards.

have you beaten Crono Cross? well, i beat it a few days ago, and i was very thorough and everything. however, i don't think that i got all the story AND IT'S KILLING ME!!! plus, i haven't the money to buy the strategy guide {now that i've beaten it} nor can i find it in this hell hole. so... i'm now searching and searching the web for anyone who can tell me what i might've missed. if you believe that you can help me, then i'll post more, if not, then i won't waste readers' time. thanks for anything.

Well, Chrono Cross is ONE of the RPGs that me and my friend are still currently playin but I'll be glad to take some time to help you with your search... I know someone at school who always buys a strategy guide with a game [cheapo] and I'll see if he can lend me his Chrono Cross guide if he has one [which I'm pretty sure he does]...

well you can't help me, 'cause that would spoil the game for you... 'cause what i'm having trouble in is nothing more than the story, and i simply need someone to talk to about it so that they can help my understand whether or not i've missed something or if the game just leaves you hanging the way i feel that it does. {also, i'm wanting to know ALL the characters that are possible allies} i got 41 characters... but yeah, thanks for anything.

well... i've started ANOTHER game, {possibly my forth one now} and i haven't found anything special yet... it's been a bit different, but nothing special...

here, let me explain what i'm missing...

i'm missing TWO of the cinema scenes in the opening sequence: the ONE where SERGE is in TERMINA, and he holds hi weapon out in front of {or behind} him. and the second is where HARLE {the Harlequin} jumps up in front of the dual moons.

but yes, those are the two i'm missing... yeah, i just never saw them! so i know i missed something there. and then, i also feel like i'm missing story 'cause HARLE disappears, and that's that, she's never seen of OR talked about again {except for when i used the CHRONO CROSS to enter KID'S mind AND when the PROPHET tells me that HARLE is the SEVENTH DRAGON}... that's it!!! ARGH, i could almost kill myself over this!!!! damnit...



damnit... i can't wait to buy ffix.
