seen a good point to discuss in another thread: did Nakago loved Tamahome?

well, I always thought he was doing all this (kissing, licking the cheek, etc) to ---- off Tamahome, simply

but now that I think about it more, I guess Nakago really had a feeling for Tamahome... well, what you think?

Love...did he LOVE Tamahome? Probably not, Nakago had a real problem with emotional constipation and confusion...

Nakago prolly DID swing both ways, and therefore was sexually attracted to Tama. I think the fact that Tamahome was powerful and yet so childish may have been what drew Nakago to him. Nakago was jaded very early, and despite Tamahome's hard life, he remained innocent. Perhaps Nakago wanted to touch that, to find out what it was like to be innocent again. Of course, he couldn't really because of the way he did things. His personality and the scope of how he viewed things didn't really allow him to be gentle, so he went about it the only way he knew how...the er..wrong way.

Would Nakago have wanted to be with Tamahome? Maybe, if Tamahome would be his little Uke...( Oh... Little Tama Uke...CUTE!) But I think part of what Nakago liked about him was his fight...the fact that he fought back and DIDN'T want him. I mean, if he just wanted a guy he could have had a willing Tomo. If he wanted a woman, he could have had a willing Soi. No...Nakago wanted a challenge.

I don't think Nakago loved Tamahome. The thing about the emotions love and hate is that they are so intense. They could actually both be opposites sides of the same coin! If you think about it, both emotions have to deal with intense feelings for one person. Hate is so strong that at times, yes, it came be mistaken for Love. So the way i see it, no. Nakago did not Love Tamahome. He just liked playing with him. :heh:

So what you're saying is that Nakago's some sort of a Bisexual guy??? He may have liked Tama but not in a gay way. I kinda agree with Doku-beibi. He may have been lost and is trying to search for his true self which may have been altered by time and experienced. Basically he saw something in Tamahome that he envies or he may have seen Tamahome as someone who could save him from what he is now...I guess.

From my perspective after watching Fushigi Yuugi, I doubt he ever did in the first place. To me, he is more like a powerful and ambitious man, rather than a lover... *Shudders at Nakago's behaviour*

Above all, he lost his innocence after he was orphened and brought forward for the emporer of Kotou.

Let's just say, the emporer toyed him :eek2: and Nakago at the time, felt hurt and alone, yet used. That's why he wanted to be an extreme and powerful deity in both worlds (The Shi shin tenchi sho and the reality world).

2. The emporer=Twisted sexual, swings both ways as long as its pretty, mind.

3. (I should have answered this earlier) Nakago wanted a challenge? Of course he wanted a challenge (in any shape, way, or form). The way he saw things nothing was worthwhile nor a challenge (just look at his attitude. As i've said before he could have easily attained his own desires if his powers weren't sealed away).

Ahh...yeah. Nakago = Bisexual. ::koff:: If YOU'D been molested by an older man when you were a little boy (that looked like a little girl...that in itself is grounds for sexual confusion) you'd be screwed up, too. At least, that's my opinion.

but I never thought about Tomo's case.... I just hate him.... sorry ^^;
