Why is Naru doing a 180?

I have seen the chrismast special and then the spring special, I made a mistake by watching 25 first. What I mean is, why does she seems so distant from Keitaro in SS(Spring special) when she had already told him she loved him in the CS(Christmas special). I know that SS comes after CS, because she was wearing the red jacket with the furry neck thing that Keitaro gave her for chrismast. Its like she never told him that she loved him. Naru look a bit suprise when he confessed to her in SS. In 25 you can't even see if she is in loved with him, like she doesn't care anymore. I don't think this is the way lovers behave, I mean if things goes on like this, he might be better off with Mitsumi or Motoko.

Yea i noticed that too.... but if you think about it, she does that a couple times in the series as well... at times she was really close to Keitaro (ex... she becomes and idol) and seems like things are gonna go well for the two.... but the next eps its back to square one....

Lets just say shes a girl who does not always display what she feels.

I haven't seen anything beyond the Christmas Special, but I would agree that if she seems cold all of a sudden, it would go with the general trend of the series........that's one thing that bothered me a bit, the way they would be on the verge of confessing their undying love in one episode, and then one incident of Keitaro seeing Naru's panties or something and they're back to their 'landlord-tenant' relationship.

Also, they may have wanted there to be more room for their relationship to grow......if they decide to make more LH material (which is very possible), Keitaro and Naru's relationship would have to still be turbulent in order to be interesting. A whole LH OVA of "I Love you Naru!" "And I love you Kei-kun!" would get sorta old...............

Well at least inthe version of the fan-sub I have... ((gift from heaven i swear :goody: )) Naru seems to get scared quite esily... and well.. although she feels the way she does she isn't comfortable with that just yet... hence why she backed off of him... plus i'm not so sure what was supposed to happen between episode 24 and christmas to make her the way she is towards him... but in the spring although she is close to how she normally is ((i.e. square one)) she still makes it very evident that she is very much in love with him... just awkward about showing it... i mean for the love of god she chased him to a desert island... and for miles through a desert with her fist in the air the whole time to catch him... i mean it may not be "i love you" but in my opinion it says it better than words ever could.
