A lot of people here seem to have read the LH manga-where are you all getting it? From online stores, or maybe from comic stores? heh, I haven't been to my comic store in ages........they probably wouldn't have it though, they never have manga.
Of course if I shopped around enough I'd probably find it, but I'm curious to see where y'all got it so I can profit from your experience. Besides, I'm tired of posting my grandiose love Hina theories only to have someone pipe in "Yeah, but in the manga they explained that it happened THIS way........."

I don't even know if it's available in English yet....I'd suspect that many here (including myself) would be getting them from various manga scan sites.
Its only available in fansubed manga scans to my knowledge
oh, theres also a couple of bilingual volumes out.
check on animecastle.com, i think they have them on animenation.com as well...

I have the Japanese manga 1-10 from online stores (will be ordering 11 soon) and I also have 1-4 of the bilingual (not sure why i got it.... i got it just b/c I suppose) but you can find those on online stores or ebay. Those online scans everyone keeps talking about? I have no idea where those are....

Um... well I tried to get them through the distribution site here at work but they don't carry those particular ISBN *whines*... so I have seen what little I have seen from the scan sites.

All hail translation sites for their work! for I wouldn't know 'bout Love Hina manga if they hadn't translated it ^_^;
Er. . . :heh: ya know that ya still can't post links to any of these download sites here though ¬_¬

Is it illegal to post a link to a link though?
You guys that have the japanese manga, can you read the kanji or do you follow along with an english script?

I don't see how posting a link to a link to a link to a link is from posting a link. lol
I read a little kanji, figured the concept of reading and I even got a little software that helps you learn kanji with games.

French I'm guessing? Don't worry Mr_Bug... everyone has some sort of talent that someone else is jealous of.... one of friends speaks french..... and it drives me up the wall when she says something really sexy-like in French..... there are times i know she didn't say anything but then there are other times were like she totally has me on a leash wondering what on earth she said.... argh.... I bet this is how Keitaro feels when hes wondering about Naru..... :confused2

Well. . I wouldn't say illegal, but it isn't allowed on these boards. . . just look to the Forum rules on the reply post typing page. .
* NO links or asking for full episodes, mp3s, midis, clips, fansubs. . .
The fansubbed manga would fall under this category. Ya can go ahead and give the links to people for all I care^^; just make sure you don't mention anything of relation on this messageboard. .

yeah :) I can understand why they put it...
Besides, anyone who wants to find it should be able to do so in 5 seconds with any self-respecting search engine....

For the best editions of Love Hina outside Japan, learn Chinese and accquire them from Taiwan. The translations are right on the money, in character (unlike the cockney slang of the English edition) and punctuated with sidesplitting and cleverly timed humour.
Tawian's translation of Love Hina, in short, are the best!!

well, I ordered the first Bilingual manga from www.sasugabooks.com, first time trying them so I'll see how that is. Chinese is second on my list of languages to learn right after Japanese, so I can learn to read the Taiwanese CCSak manga I have:).
Actually, between the LH bilingual and the raw Cowboy Bebop manga I'm getting I'm going to experiment with learning Japanese through manga. It's limited of course, but if you have some knowledge of hiragana and katakana (I need to review :o), and a Kanji dictionary it shouldn't be that hard to get the gist of things, and hopefully you can pick up some japanese that way.......

Right On!! The colloquial Japanese you pick up from anime is FAR more useful and easy to learn than the dry, formal and clinical Japanese you learn in language courses.
