got their first taste of OutLaw Star on toonami? What were your first impressions? I thought it was really cool, the dub was one of the best I had ever seen (I think the subs better though) and to me the first episode moved really fast! I was hooked by the first ep and I could barely wait for the next episode to see what was in the myestrious suitcase...

As soon as I heard about Toonami showing Outlaw Star (something I had never seen or heard of before), I rented the first 3 tapes subbed. After that, I watched the show on Toonami...missing only 2-4 eps around the time of the race.

I thought it was pretty good. Then I saw the dvds. WHOAH. It's got everything I love in anime. Ludacrisly (sp?) large guns, Ludacrusly large explosions and ludicrisly large breasts :naughty:!

:lol: it had been one i've never saw before and i never took the time to study what it was about, so when i saw the first episode on Toonami i was hooked..... it thought it was ok :D

Trust me, rent the subtitled version. If you missed out on the dubbed TV version.... lets just say you're not missing out on much.

I saw it first on CN, but that was a good thing. I'm not exposed to much anime, besides reading Animerica and reading reviews on the net. Damn...I need more money to buy more anime :(
I really liked Outlaw Star, and I bet i'll like it even more if i see it on dvd.
