I know it gives him the sh-ts someting bad, but why 'Leon-poo'??????

IMHO, Nene is definitely the 'Pen^2' of BGC2040. She totally moves the series away from that whole seriousness angle. Not that there was much of one from what I can tell

That's bloody because the God Damn Translators are too dislexic to find a dignified way of translating "Leon-Chyan!!" (Can't they just have done "Leon-Pie" instead, Damn It!!).


Also, you obviously have not seen past episode 10. For Bubblegum Crisis 2040 eventually builds up to a bleak and downright horrific fable on the frailty of the human flesh, as the earth is threatend to be engulfed under an apocalyptic tide of living steel.

I have seen up to episode 18 I think, but my video store didn't have video 9 or onwards. An I can't afford to pay for them. Hopefully I'll get it for my birthday. YAY!!

I have the first 5 DVDs from the US. Only 1 left for me :) I only watch it subbed and can tell you what its supposed to be. Right, its originally Leon-chan ie. Little Leon. Then she starts calling him Leon-P, because it sounds good I guess. And the last name is Leon-pyon. Same premise

lucky... meanies. my blockbuster doesn't even know what anime is! they have NO anime (pokemon doesnt count) but they sure to have bizillion copies of "Meet The Parents". stupid american store. i have to buy all my anime now... oh well...

Equally bad is the fact that even IF Blockbusters stocks anime it would invariably be

1) Dubbed

2) Stocked in "Martial Arts" section even if it is NOT even remotely related to the matter

3) One night rentals

well at my blockbuster it is half in the Manga section and half in the Chinatown, and they are all weeklys, but the still don't have BGC video 9!! GRRR!!!
