Trigun in a nutshell

I haven't seen Trigun, wont see Trigun (WAYYY too expensive to buy each tape, none available from local video store, and licenses are owned therefore no fansubs available) but I'd really love to see it.. after I seen this really neato music video about Trigun.

So can anyone tell me about it? Spoilers included! I really wanna hear about it

Which music video is it? I have 13 Trigun Music Vids so far in my collection.......

As for the series itself........I can't be bothered typing that much, but I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for if you read all the threads in this forum.....

As for fansubs, I can name 3 places to get the entire series in Australia.....But, I'm not going to :D

Kenshin, as in the Kenshin who doesn't kill people anymore. Therefore, Ken, you probably would find Trigun to be a, to use your words, a 'faggy series aimed at girls'.......

I always thought it was a shounen anime. I understand that Vash's "good looks" are suppoused to bring in a female audience. Really, are Japanese girls that shallow?

Read my post carefully. I am speaking to Penguin Ken, because Nairohe called Trigun "Kenshin with Guns". Now, Penguin Ken has never seen Kenshin, but assumes it is a 'girly anime, with a faggy cast to attract a girly audience". So, I was informing him, that he would probably think the same of Trigun, since he's never seen it either......

Maybe sarcasm doesn't work well online.......

Ahem! I LOVE Rurouni Kenshin OVAs (Samurai X), I was ASKING about the rest of the series because I had been told he doesn't fight anymore.. so I thought that perhaps MAYBE RK had become a ROMANCE SERIES AIMED AT GIRLS, and I also stated that that had been my assumption prior to having seen any RK. Now don't be such a ----- Schizm.

If Vash doesn't fight, how come the music vid has heaps of fight scenes with him and a revolver?

The song in the clip is (band - artist) "System of a Down - Sugar"
It starts off by going:
"That's him, the devil's helper who single handedly reduced a city of 1,000,000 people to ashes. The legendary outlaw Vash the Stampede is just over that hill"
[cuts to scene of Vash accidentally opening up his revolver instead of pulling the safety back]

I also prefer the Kenshin OVA to the series, but don't judge it till you see it.

And, as for the price on Vash's head, I haven't seen the whole series, but I am thinking it's not because he killed people, but because of what he is........

And, as for the music vid, yes I do have that one :) but there are better Trigun AMVs out there ;)

No, mIRC is only for those with fast connections. We poor souls with 56k dial ups have to get them elsewhere......

But, I have found several FTP sites, and numerous website to get them. There is a site, while it doesn't host AMVs, that has a list of almost ALL the AMV producers, their work and other 'details'. The sit is 'animemusicvideos' with all the neccessary www's and org's added on ;)

Well, kinda agree with Nairohe, Kenshin with a gun. Like both hid their real identity to their newfound friends. They're both famous in their own respected places and are feared for their skills.

Well about looks, I think its not enjoyable if the main character of the story looks like an ape or a chimp right. I don't think I'll enjoy the show much if Vash looks ugly, well that's my opinion of course.
