yea im new to the series as of today (i just watched tape Bubblegum Crisis 2040: Shadow War )

it looks good so far...i got a couple questions:

was there like a series before this? cause it seems that there is...or maybe after....

is that girl with the aqua blue hair a lesbian? (just wondering... :heh: )

BGC 2040 has a predecesor...BGC Crash and BGC 2032 (i think)

Sylia Stingray is not a lesbian...what gave you the idea that she's a lesbian???

BGC 2040 is an updated and revised version of the original BGC

Yep as said above there are 2 other seires. But those have no effect on this one. They took the name setting and charactors but there is no actual link bettween to 2. Like how each of the final fantasy series are compleatly different.

Bubblegum Crisis 2032 is basically just called Bubblegum Crisis. The year is given to distinguish between the Bubblegum Crisis, Bubblegum Crash, and Bubblegum 2040.

Bubblegum Crisis even though much older and isn't as crisp as 2040 and with no computer generated graphics is a better quality version due to the fact characters are more indepth. The music is 100% better. It was the music that had made it even more attractive and very popular.

Watch the original first, then Bubblegum Crash, then Bubblegum 2040. Also in the Bubblegum Crisis realm there was three more tapes. The AD Police Files. It is based on Leon as a rookie in the AD Police. If you think Leon is a kick butt character then this is a good source of information to find more about him.
