Who don't you like?

Ok.... we all know who are favorites are.... but is there any character/characters that you dont' like? That you think serves no purpose and has no contriubutions whatsoever? Personally I don't like the old men.... the way i see they are there to confuse the viewers... Yea i know, they are supposedely suppose to help out with moving the plot an all, but they don't do anything. They just appear with fog around them.... wow.... is that a special technique?

So who don't you like? And thats my two cents. :down:

I'd vote for Motoko's groupies.They are just plain annoying and should get a life of their own.

I have to agree on the Motoko groupies thing, it's cute, but not much character really.

Maybe it's because I've watched Babylon 5, but I loved the old men with their cryptic sayings and fading away into mist, they reminded me of Kosh and other Vorlons who tended to be just as cryptic, if more so. I also thing the old men serve as markers in the series and say, in their own way what the series is about. It's a nice touch.

I don't mind the old men. Sure they're a bit confusing, but they add a nice "weirdness" aspect to the town they all live in.

I agree that Motoko's groupies annoying , but they do serve a purpose, that is to show that Motoko prefers to live a somewhat secluded life even though she's popular and could have lots of freinds.

I guess I'd have to say Sarah. Although I know she serves an important part in the series, I just don't like her. She's such a brat and IMHO deserves a severe spanking.

Yup, i agree on that one, i wanted to strangle her at some point in the serie.^^; That little... fiend.

I dunno.. there isnt really anyone i dont like.. sure, some are annoying at times.. but none that bug me enough for me to say i dont like em. *shrugs*

I dont really hate a character but I must admit that the first time Mitsumi appeared I was really angry because she screw Naru and Keitaro good time^^; (But I really like this character .. o.0 I'm gonna faint ) ok Shara-chan is a little brat ... yes it's true ..

I'll tell ya, when Sarah made her entrance in the manga, (can't remember which volume) I just wanted to choke her. Now, the will to choke her is not as evident, but I still want to do it. :nod:

I don't like the head 'Motoko-groupie', the other two seem to be just following her lead. She seems to be an example of one of those feminists who take the whole 'female empowerment' thing to a ridiculous extreme and hate all men unconditionally, and she expects Motoko to live up to her ideals. Thankfully, she got better later in the series.

I also don't like the girls that were teasing Shinobu and Taichi in ep. 2, junior high school girls can be the lowest form of life on earth:mad: Taichi herself kinda gives me the creeps at times, although I guess she's better than Shinobu having nobody....

Oh and Keitaro's two 'friends' Hitani and Shirani or whatever, now them I wanted to kill:). But I think they added to the series since you were kind of supposed to dislike them.

I've read more of the manga than seen the anime, but I really don't like Keitaru's friends too... they always get in the way, and are really really annoying. Especially EVERY time Keitaru has a 'special moment' with Naru, they get in the way

I hated Seta when we first met him. I was all caught up in Keitaro and Naru getting together, then he showed up and I was afraid she would jump on Seta. I hated him at first, but when we find out he wasnt interested, he seemed alright.
