She has these wild and sudden mood swings, pops pills, alcoholic and drives like a maniac, as seen in ep. 6 [and often a combination of all the above]. Does she really care about the other girls, or is she using them to get to her own means at any risk [their risk that is]? I mean, is it really necessary to push the girls that far so as to kill a boomer, I'm sure the ADP, however incompetent, can finish it off if they soften it up and leave.

priss is the most interesting, she is the only one thats actualy doing something w/ her life, she has a great voice, she is a really good fighter, she stands for what she believes in, and dosnt take ---- from anyone.

You obviously are a Die Hard Priss fan, and so there is no point in trying to sway you. Lets just say its along the lines of who you are defines who you like. ie: You might be best freind with one person and I worst enemys with them. That just depeneds on who each of us are and what our tastes are.

I hope this helps you understand how I, and others, can say Nene is a muh better character than Priss. The only improvement I could see would to be to give her a History. ie: who her parents are, how she learnt how to hack etc.

Ya that's why ya got Sylia. You don't need Priss and Linna. In that fight with the waitress Linna was to scared to even really try. Nene was the one that steped up and took action. And its not that Nene is a horrible fighter she just lets her gaurd down every now and then. Usually after she kicks some but that turns around to tell everyone that she can fight. But she wouldn't do that if everyone stopped giving her a hard time about it.

no we're just saying that our favourite knightsaber is Nene. favourite doesn't necessarily mean who is the best. if it were "who is the better knightsaber" i would probably say Priss or Sylia but they aren't my favourites which is what this question is asking. and that answer would be Nene.

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but the official japanese release of D&R/EoE does not have english subtitles. You can bid for bootleg DVD copies of the movies on Ebay, but the subtitling quality/synchronization is definitely sub-par.

ONI is like tombraider cause you solve puzzles and has a style like metal gear solid where konoko who is this female agent

it's only a one off movie. i think you can say it was one of the first breakthru films into the western world for adult japanese anime

a new version has been released that has had the audio re-mastered right up to dolby 5.1. sounds great apparently.

Madman will release the Akira DVD soon (in the next two months or so) for $34.95.

It is a two DVD set, the first being the movie, the second containing a production report, a sound clip, an interview with the director, trailers, an Akira glossary, a special on the restoration process, and over 4,500 still images and production materials. All I can say is GET IT! You won't be disappointed.

I bought the special edition tin box as soon as it came out in the US...... it cost me a lot, but it was worth it (as I've said many times. :D)

it was released on VHS a while back, this one i'm talking about is the first on DVD. before re-mastering it, they had to get the rights which apparrently was a bit of a bastard.:)

they have to have rights so they can print dvd's thats pretty stupid considering any one with a CD burner copys movies songs and games for distribution to their mates what was the problem with getting rights was it the company who prints dvd or the copmany who made Akira?
