As some of you already know, the author of LH leads a double life as a normal comic artist and an H-doujinshi artist. This is one of the things that sets him apart from the others because he is both a professional and a fan. I've seen some of his h-doujinshi and they're drawn quite well; the drawing style is similar to LH. I have, in my collection, couple of FF7, a Dew Prism, a Vampire Savior, AM3, and AM4. There are some others if you check his page, but the one I really want is his AM2 which looks like a Sentimental Graffiti doujin :) . Do you think the author's great or sucks for being an h-doujinshi artist? I also think this explains a little why there's much fanservice in LH.

It's ok, I guess. Doesn't matter to me if he draws H-doujinshi.
What's his page, btw?

Sorry for harping, but please don't distribute hentai links on the boards (not that you were going too, but just in case

You have doujinshi? Lucky! They're so much fun. Yeah, I think it's cool that he's a doujin artist, regardless of whether it's hentai or not. A fair amount of doujinshi artists have crossed over into the
'mainstream'. like the ladies at CLAMP. That would help explain why there's so many LH doujinshi out there, they're inspired by Akematsu:).

I've never found the fanservice to be too much though, it's not meant to be taken seriously. Besides, with such great characters and stories it's not like he relies on fanservice; it would have been a great comic without it, it just kind of adds to the silly atmosphere:).

Did the doujin by Akematsu cost a lot, since I've heard that doujinshi by pros go for lots of money????

Hello Yui,
I can only download the h-doujinshi scans because supposedly, they are difficult to access outside of Japan so I don't know how much they cost. It's not like I'm lucky.

I don't know why so much LH doujinshi exists, but I don't think CLAMP has anything to do with it. Don't they do professional work?

As for Akamatsu's page, it's printed on the inside cover of every LH volume(the pictures he draw of himself are funny). The downloadable LH scans may have his link somewhere, but I don't read those so I don't know. BTW, only the covers for his hdoujin exist on his page. He also updates his diary page every single day for you to read(if you can read it).

Oh, I didn't mean CLAMP had anything to do with LH doujinshi, just that they are an example of professional artists that started out as doujin artists, that's all:).

I love the cartoons Akematsu draws of himself, high time I checked out his site me-thinks.
