Nadisco (and the anime version 'Martian Successor Nadesico') is based around a starship called, you guessed it, the Nadisco. As per standard, all crewmembers are complete nutters. All pilots of the Aesti Valis mecha are obessed with a macross parody called "gekiganger". The ship is also better than everything else in space... apart from maybe a couple of Jovian fortresses. Which brings us to: the plot! Mars was attacked by 'lizards' from jupiter, who attack with spider-like mecha called "batta" and large black slabs (go the 2001 parody) called Monaris, as well as muffin-shaped Fortresses. Essentially, the Nadisco goes forth and kicks some jovian butt. Thats about it, without giving too much away

I know what you mean, when i first saw Nadesico it was right in the middle of the series. Except for fist of the north star all my animes are like that.

Well to start of with, Mars go's Bang! The Nadesico go's Wooooshhhhh! The crew go's Oooohhhhh! The women go AKITO!
