Having no idea what an ergling is, I can't answer that.

Trigun is a series about a legendary gundamn on a desert planet with a big-ass reward on his head ($$60,000,000,000!!!!), and despite all the property damage he has caused, he has yet to take a human life. When we meet him he's actually a pretty nice guy/klutz/pervert. As you watch it becomes increasingly harder to believe he's reponisble for all the destruction, that is until you hit dvd/vhs #4.

It's not extrmely violent, but if you're shopping for that 9 year old you mentioned in the Tenchi thread, I wouldn't reccomend it. If it's for someone older (like say 13+) BUY IT!!!!! BUY IT!!!!
