So, what do you guys think of it?

I have most of the songs and, for the most part, I really like the them. There's just a couple of character songs that I don't care but the rest is really great! :)

yeah, I found the song in the Spring Special to be a little... childish... but most of the other songs I quite nice, I you like that kind of stuff. I espically like the last song on the christmas album (track 14, I forget the title :heh: )

I have practically all the music from Love Hina.
Love & Joy, Il Yu Dana, Yaku Soku, Shinobu no Touban Nisshi, and Heart Wa Wow Wow are my favorites.

I like the music, but I don't know why...

It's not as good, in quality as some in others series (i.e. tenchi Muyo). One review on the net compared it to a gorilla pounding on a cheap Casio keyboard. Ha ha ha. Don't think I would go that far...

The theme is quite cute. I especially like the lullaby version with cast members switching off. Kinda illustrates how all the characters are stuck together by fate.

guess it's just that the series has a nice warm sentimental feeling to it that gets re-created after listening to the songs.

I don't have any of the LH cd's, but one thing I noticed during the series is that the vocal songs and the bgm really had a lot of common themes....there are plenty of anime with good theme songs and everything, but LH is one of the few I've found that has a dominant musical style. The background music they play during slower times has that languid 'hangin' out by the hot springs with nothin' particular to do' sound, while the music when Keitaro's all psyched to get into Todai sounds like a battle march or something:). A lot of it probably isn't that listenable in and of itself (the bgm that is), but you can tell they put a lot of thought into how the music complemented what was going on onscreen.

And I love any song sung by Horie Yui, she has the sweetest voice ever. Hayabishara is great, but I think she's had enough time as Japan's No. 1 Seiyuu. Make some room for Horie-sama!

Come on, now you're starting to think like the US government. Just because Megumi's the best, and has more hugely-popular roles than any other seiyuu doesn't mean we should set up some sort of anti-monopolistic seiyuu law. Where would that get us?

I think that Megumi is being phased out, and Yui is taking up that role... just my opinion

Be for You, Be for Me (LHA Ending)

Well I have the soundtrack, and the bgm is really only suited as background music, but once you've seen the series, listening to the bgm is pretty good because it reminds you of the particular parts associated with it.

But I absolutely love the bgm on the second cd of the soundtrack, with the orchestra. I love orchestra music that's somehow associated with movies or series, especially what I call "thematic" music, meaning a consistent theme of a score or something used periodically throughout the series/film. Like for example the Jurassic Park themes, which are easily recognisable (at least by me anyway), and in Love Hina you'd notice the Kimi Sae Ireba theme used instrumentally in various parts.

The songs are pretty good too. Some anyway, in particular Yui Horie's ones. There are several others, but I can't remember which ones exactly right now.

That song is one one of the 3 mini albums I have... I don't think it's in the series, just an image song.
