I watched episode 25 yesterday. That was an awesome episode. There was a lot more fan service in this episode than any other too. First time they showed actual "nudity" in the show too. And Motoko's sister is pretty scary. She always gets that demonic look in her eyes when she's fighting.

No.... there really wasn't nudity.... It was just as you said, more fan service. :D :heh:

As it was a DVD only release (and hence safely out of the jurisitction of broadcast censors), much more (ahem) artistic liberty could be exercised. Notice how Motoko in episode 25 was the only cast member EVER to show a naked backside in the ENTIRE series.

I agree, it was an excellent addition to the previous 24

naughty humor at its best, pulling Motoko's sister's panties down after falling down the stairs!!

Yeah, and it was so funny when Naru became possessed by the cursed katana

She was cursed? Ya know.... maybe naru just used the katana as an excuse to let lose on Keitarou.

yeah, it was a good ep :)

but i'm curious as to what happened between Keitaro and Naru at the beginning. She seemed kinda pissed when she left in the train.... :confused2

I think she didn't like the fact that Keitaro wasn't all that sad to see her go away.

She doesn't need a valid reason to be mad at Keitarou.... she can be mad at him just b/c its him! After all, we're talking about a guy whos as lucky as can be but doesn't know how to handle the situation. If i were in Narus situation i think i'd take her standpoint too. I wonder what IAL would say. Where is the residential Naru? We must find out what her opinion is. :heh: ::ducks for covor::

I especially liked it since Motoko acted more feminine. We got to see her dress the part, but now we got to see her act it out.

Funny, I thought it was one of the worst episodes in the series.

I think that what is wrong with Love Hina in it's current state is that no one is sure when it is going to end. The Naru/Keitaro relationship was pretty much brought to a conclusion in the christmas special which gave the series a feeling of finality. Following the Xmas special, the anime started to follow the events in the manga (the spring special, episode 25). This creates a problem IMO because the Xmas special did not happen in the manga and the result is that there is no sense of continuity. Episode 25 just doesn't fit that point in the anime, maybe if it was somewhere in the middle of the series and not at the point where you expect a satisfactory ending to the series.

I'll have to agree with what Kodachi just said and I'll give my opinion from the comic's perspective. It seems that Mr. Akamatsu has no end in mind for the series. I have read the comic up to chapter 106 and I thought the story should have ended at chapter 105. What happens in 105? The issue with Kanako is resolved, Keitaro and Naru finally become lovers. This is an ending that concludes the Keitaro and Naru relationship. Chapter 106 is just about Motoko's problems and the series will probably drag on from here. It's like how Dragon Ball should have ended with Volume 35, but didn't. Now I wonder how Akamatsu will create an ending to the series that surpasses Chapter 105 because he just skipped a perfect opportunity right there.
