i just got the the bastard dvd and i'd like to know if anyone can give some info on the anime . only put links if it is an awesome site . other than that please type up whatever info you can give me.

My fear with OVAs like this is that they will be to rushed, little character developement ect. ect.
Does Bastard suffer from any of these things, and is it worth me spending $30 USD on?

Bastard was ok.... Personally I'd rather just borrow it (which is what i did) instead of buying it. Even if you get the limited edition collectors one.... its still not worth buying outright.

There are not Tv series of Bastard ( However, i wish there were ) Its a 6 part ova. Its about some dude called dark ???????? can't spell his name. Well he was ressurected (4got how ) But he use to be a bad guy. But since he has the heart of a child he turns out to be a good guy that kicks alot of @%%. Overall the anime is Great!!

I think Bastard! absolutely kicks ass and is quite funny in many parts. Well I did see it ages ago so it may differ to todays standards. But the characters are pretty interesting (Gaira the Ninja Master is awesome) and the art is awsome too (the creatures are designed by the guy who designed the Silent Mobius demons) and the action is pretty intense.

It's a shame the story never went on to the next chapter (where the manga is past I think) it would have been quite interesting but the 6 OVAs wraps up that one whole plotline. But I would buy that over the manga I have purchased lately *slaps himself for getting Street Fighter Alpha, Kenshin Movie and Burn Up W*
