Ok, this question has probablly already been asked but...

Wasn't The Big O cancelled on Toonami? Doesn't this mean that the entire series will never be released? Or am I wrong? Thanks in advance to anyone who replies...

Actually I think the series was left unfinished as it didn't do too well even over in Japan. I think it was cancelled before they finished the series period, not just on Toonami. They're re-running the 13 eps that were made though at 5:30 PM on weekdays.... Hope that helps.

well it was cancelled in Japan, explaining why the show just ends without a conclusion. It wasn't cancelled on Toonami, its just that when a series is only 13 eps long, there's no point in showing it over and over again.

If there's no conclusion than how can you bring yourself to watch it? I could never watch a series and not see the ending (if it was a good enough series anyway). Moreover, how can Cartoon Network show it on their channel? And lastly, how could anyone buy the DVDs? This has gotta be a really good series if it was worth airing w/o a conclusion!

Half the fun of the show is drawing your own conclusions about the ending. Toonami can pull alot off in the show department, if you heard that Tenchi was going on after watching it uncut, you'd shout wtf! But somehow they pulled it off without cutting it, tooooo much. And OS! They aired it, course they had a strange sense of what to cut sometimes and what to cut others. But the point is THEY DID IT! If Toonami puts it's mind to something, it will do it!
