Cardcaptors and Card Captor Sakura...

OK. Please tell me how the hell I tell the difference.

I have the first episode, and I think it's the latter; but is there an easy way to distinguish between the two?!

I was thinking that cardcaptures is just the dub off cardcapture sakura

CardCaptors cuts out the first 8 or so episodes of CCS...if your "first" episode has Li Shaoran in it (the boy from HK), then what you have is the crappy Card Captors. They cut CCS to make Shaoran the main character and make it "more appealing to boys" :P

WB, for their second season of cardcaptors, is showing those first 8, and others that they skipped during the first season.

oh yeah...compare their pronounciation of Clow Cards

I have seen some of CCS. After a couple of eps, it really got quite boring, started repeating itself.

Sakura gets in trouble with a card. Manages to kick card something bad. Has a cute little family thing happen in the course of this kicking. Repeat for each episode.
