Ok the setting is a city called Paradigm. Apparently it has suffered a huge wave of amensia from an occurance that happened awhile back. The main character is Roger Smith who is a negotiator. He runs across an android named Dorothy while doing a drop of for a client to get her back...er well sorta. Anyway there are people that sometimes gets memory fragments and a lot of time causes havoc across the land in which Roger usually eventually gets invloved with. He then has a giant Mega Deus called the Big O. Anyway that's the backbone of it, but the meat of it comes with the question...what happened to the city? The series is quite good IMO, but there are only half of the episodes due to it being canned in Japan...so watch it and you'll get a great half a story!

It has a really good story. Just be prepared for the fact that there are only 13 episodes.
