I am not the biggest Big-O fan out there, but I did enjoy much of the show, and there are too many lame posts in this board right now, so I thought I would attempt to initiate a discussion about the show! Please forgive my spelling here :)

I wanted to talk about what we think is going on in the series.
From the last few episodes, we can gather the following...

1) The disaster that happened long ago (if there really was one), may have had something to do with the Megaduces becoming sentient, piloting themselves maybe?

2) Paradime had children implanted with "memories". 4 of them were murdered for "remembering them too soon".

The old man talked about growing Tomatos from bits of their memories, and if they grew them long enough, eventually they would get the real thing again. Is it possible Paradime is trying to "breed" memories back into people? If they put memories into a few people and have them reproduce, eventually would we end up with people they way they were before the disaster again, possibly getting MORE memories out of the whole deal?

Are they doing this for a purpose, or for fun? Do they think they can get profit from doing this, digging up technologies and sciences noone knows now, or are they just trying to actually do something GOOD? That would be a twist, right? The "Big Evil Conglomerate" is being "all controling", but with a good motive behind it all?

Comments? Ideas?

aside from all that you've said, the thing that really botheres me is that assumably Roger existedat the time when whatever happned and people lost their memeries . . . right? 40 years ago. what would roger's age be then???

as for the tomatos, the old man "believed" that before the tomatos were created by using some sort of "magic". see now the tomatos are created by humans and the old man believed that in the past tomatos were created by something else (not artifically by humans). we would call that something else nature. the old man believed that the memories knew how to make pure tomatos.

simplifies because i'm sure you didn't understand a thing i said:
the old man thinks that the memories will tell the old man where to find pure "seeds" that will create pure tomatos without the help of humans. get it???:p
