Someone mentioned in a past thread which I now cant find, about something to do with the Lance of Loginus being seen as part of Unit-00 in the first episode, or some type of cross on Unit-00. Pen2 I think you were talking about it? I watched the first episode again and couldnt find what you were talking about, can anybody help me find what they were talking about.

It isn't in the first episode. it's shown when Gendo and Ritsuko are overlooking the destruction caused by Eva-00's failed sync test, and the shot of Eva-00 is seen (this was at the start of episode 5 if i remember correctly)

its a large black cross, sticking out of the entry plug "slot". i don't think it has anything to do with the lance though.
