Nakago, love or hate?

Some hate him because he's evil. Others love him because he's evil. A few love him because he's tragically evil--and some aren't sure he's evil at all. Me, I sorta go for the tragically evil version :) Nakago's gotta be one of my favorite characters in Fushigi Yuugi, along with Nuriko and Chichiri and Soi. So, what do you all think about him, hmm? Would you like to kill him or kiss him? I know which I'd rather... :P

I like Nakago just fine, although my roomate and friends can't see why. I'm not sure why myself, actually....

I think it is probably because, even though Nakago is evil and manipulative, he has reasons for being full of hate and vengeance. He isn't completely evil. He's redeemable.

I'm probably not the best person to be answering this thread...simply because I have too many favorite characters in FY. It's easier for me to say who I don't like....

Nakago, aaaa....blue eyes, blonde hair, gorgeous smirk...what's not to love? Villians, no matter what their reasons for bein' th' baddies, usually seem to be more interesting...o.O At first I liked Na-chan just becuase he was so obviously suffering from a sexuality crisis (and becuase he was major bishounen). Kin' never hurt a guy t' be bish, after all. But, yeah...I eventually learned to love him for his detirmination, moral standards (Existus Acta Probat. The end justifies the means.) and all around Cool-Headed Bad Guy aura. There is his tragic past, but I for one think he would have been just as cool without it...I'm inherently evil and I don't really have too many reasons for it.

For me Nakago's kind of a touchy subject because I know someone very much like him...evil, manipulative, and a proponent of using rape as leverage to use people. So for that reason I hate him...despise him...wish he'd died a little more painfully than he did...maybe been mobbed by penguins. I dunno.
As far as a character goes he was just so....*evil* But he was handsome. The evil ones are always handsome *sigh* Ahh well. Just put me on the *slap him* list. :p

Nakago is just one of those villians that I just love for some reason. I don't love to hate him. Or hate him. I love him because hes just.... evil. :devil: He embodies what we all have inside ourself but have learned restraint i suppose. Eh :confused2 Thats how i see it anyways. :heh:

I don't like him or anything..he's seems like a regular baddie to me (but maybe with more cruel means..). I have nothing against him either..
