I hate Big O. The mecha that is, not the series. What do I like the best? The overall atmosphere and the concept of the soceity where nobody has any memories. And yes, Dorothy ownz j00 all :D

One of the great things about Big O the series is the fact you can make up your own ending. So use your imagination and have fun. Don't expect all the answers to be handed to you on a silver platter with this show. As for. what happened to Paradigm that was discussed in a different thread. The name of the thread is "What happened to Paradigm".

I think its a good series, there I said it, and the people who bash it in "BIG O thread" they can bite me, but I would update some of the animation and add a few things then it would be even better. Thats my story, and I'm sticking to it :smokin:

WHY do people bash it is my question. I don't really see anygood reason... it's got a mysterious eva like element to it, Roger is like 007, Spike Spiegal, and Batman all rolled into one. That's quite the feat :). Plus, I find Dorothy to be quite interesting, the back story has a nice touch, the music reminds of Cowboy Bebop (which is a good thing) and the mecha scenes (sp? I guess i should go back to 1st grade and work on my spelling, eh ms. sheex?), though would rather live without, are very spiffy and well animated. I don't really see anything wrong with it. My assumption is because it looks like batman, which is a GOOD thing, since it helps the show capture the whole classic style the show has going...

Why do people bash it? Its not that hard to figure out why. I havne't really seen too many people who bash the show for legitimate reasons. I can only recall one good discussion I've had on this board with someone who disliked it, and now he likes the show :cool: Most of the people who saw Big O on Toonami are people who watch shows like DBZ and Gundam Wing and think everything's like that. They see a show like Big O where you actually have to think about things and they get all confused. They're so confused that they just bash the show because they can't understand it at all. Kudos to CN for airing such a mature show. ;)

I like the relationship between Dorthy and Roger...(romantic or otherwise) That and the many still unanswered questions about Paradigm. And the whole style of the Big O. It's a very classy kind of series....

I liked Big O. It had a style of it's own. I loved the style it was drawn but with one set back....I didn't like Big O's design.

The best thing about Big O is the jazz type music. All the saxaphone and piano, I can't get enough of it. The best episode was 'The Legacy of Amadeus.' Why? Because of the music. That sonata that Instro played sent chills up my spine.
