Gee that's alot of abbreviations in my subject line...
Anyways, I've got a question for anybody that knows about the OAV's or has the OAV DVD's. I found (on a barnes and noble affiliate) what's just listed as "Fushigi Yuugi OAV box set - contains all 9 episodes"
So is that just OAV number 1? Or is that 1 and 2? I know 2 had...6 episodes? So was 1 only 3 episodes? or have they not dvd'ed OAV #2 yet? I could care less about 1...I just want 2.

That's both OVAs. Pioneer has released them in a rather odd way - as a single OVA rather than two separate ones, as they should have been released.

The first OVA is three episodes long, and is on the first tape/DVD. Watch it for the bus trips (if they've been included) but not for story and plot. It sounds like you already knew that anyway ^_^

The second OVA is on the other two tapes/DVDs.

There's another thread around here somewhere that talks about them....it should be here (http://animeboards.com/t20926/s.html). Be warned, it contains spoilers.

Be Aware that there are only 2 dvds in the OVA release by pioneer. So ignore the first 3 (wathc the bus trip omake though) and watch the last 6. :)

Okay then I have another question. I've got my friend's fansub of OVA #2 which includes some omake stuff called "Fushigi Yuugi: Bad Play" with little outtakes and junk like that (including Taitskuun getting rather riled up and a hysterical one with Taka chickening out when Miaka gets chucked off the roof of the school)

Did they include those on the DVD version? Please tell me they did. :) :D

Omakes from both OVAs' are on the DVDS.
