Ayashi No Ceres! ^^

Well, I saw all 24 eps of that animé, and it's awesome OO; it's my fave animé along with Fushigi Yuugi ^^ I just wanted to see how many people have seen it... to see if that forum request is funded ^^; Dan-kun requested a forum for it.... and it well deserves it... AnC has depth, and there's plenty to discuss on those 24 eps... So who seen it? ^^;

I've only read some of the manga, wich from what i've been told is a lot better than the anime.(i've been told that the anime is disapointing when you've read the manga) You should be able to get ahold of it since its out in french.(if you haven't already) I haven't read it all tho and its been quite a while... though i remember it was cool.^^

I have to agree on that! stupid imbecile.... looks like me ><; she couldn't say no since she cared for him and didn't wanted to hurt his feelings, but she shouldn't have done that! baka.... she perfectly knew that Yuuhi would have understand... which he did anyway 'cause he told her he would wait 'till she forgets about Touya..... yes, you right, Yuuhi is just too kind and too sweet for her... Me thinks Chidori shouldn't have [big spoiler]died[/big spoiler] and they should have ended up together....

well, firstly i enjoyed Ayashi No Ceres. I enjoy the fantasy/legends shoujo kind of genre =)

Scarlet was very nice Opening theme, wouldn't you say??

and about the Aki vs. Tooya vs. Yuuhi debate, i would have to say....Yuuhi rocks!! ^_^ he is so adorable and nice! what a lovable character =) he is my fav (along with Tasuki from F.Y)
Tooya doesn't really appeal to me that much and Aki..well i liked him at the end, and also when he was taken over by Mikage (and went kinda all crazy) - it was interesting to see Aki finally trying to fight back to Mikage's overpowering strength in order to save Aya.

also..i don't think Yuuhi would have ended up with Chidori..i think a part of his feelings will still be with Aya I think - and that always kind of makes it hard for him to let go and kinda 'move on'.
i think he did love Chidori, but more in a brother->sister way.

what do u think?? of course, this is my personal opinion =)
so its not right or wrong...hehe just depends on your stance on this topic ^_^

and hnnn... I have to admit Yuuhi is waaaaaay cooler than Touya in personality.... and me thinks they are both veeeeeery handsome bisounens *drools* but, even if Yuuhi's chopsticks are cool, Touya's dagger thing is just sooo cool oo; (I'm a freak of daggers ^^;)
and indeed.... Aki was as his best as Mikage... he was so cool oo;

and finally, I guess I think Yuuhi and Chidori would have ended up together 'cause I want to ^^;;;
I might cosplay Chidori at the AWA convention ^^; if I find a costume like her school uniform... I already have long red hair that curl so at least that is done ^^;

Aya: Aya was actually MUCH, MUCH cooler than Miaka. When you think about it, Aya had every reason to do what she did to Yuuhi. Within a year, she lost her father, her mother went comatose, her twin brother went nuts, and she bascially lost all semblance of her normal life. I'm suprised she held together as well as she did. When did it ever really get her down? She had a mission: GET THE HAGOROMO. And she traveled all over th' fichin' country to get it, never suspecting it was the man she'd fallen in love with. And when that man forgot allllllll about her, I think that was her breaking point since he'd been her stability. She needed someone to cling to, someone that was strong, becuase she'd used all of her strength up by this point. She knew that Yuuhi loved her, and she told herself, Since Tooya is never coming back, I'll be with Yuuhi because he loves me. I'll learn to love him back. She wasn't really thinking in terms of, I can't do this because I still love Tooya. She was trying to move on instead of moping over him. Miaka moped over Tama...how long? I mean, she wouldn't even let the Emperor do more than kiss her chastely...she wasn't thinking realistically about him never coming back. She held onto a childish fantasy that he WOULD come back. Its just that...this IS shoujo manga, and the insanely improbable ( Guy actually coming BACK ) happens every day. That's why you can justify Miaka waiting for him, and say Aya was bad bad bad for not pining after the man that might not ever see her again.


Chidori and Yuuhi: They made a very, very cute couple. I would've liked to see the both of them end up together, happily, but it would've been a difficult relationship. I mean, Yuuhi doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would be able to find Chidori sexually attractive, much less stand the constant whispers of "Rora/Lola" everywhere...Still, it would've been nice.
I was actually partial to a Yuuhi and Shuro pairing for several volumes of manga, even though that was hopeless...because they were just buddies despite all the pysical contact they had. Not to mention, Yuuhi still liked Aya and Shuro was one of those "Pine for the man that's never coming back" kinda girls. I never really saw Kei in a good light, but there must've been something she liked about him other than him being the only man that knew she was a woman...::koff:: At least, I hope.

That is true, but when you take into account that 1) She was breaking down horribly and in every since as well as 2) She's a Japanese girl, and most of them still aren't as experienced with relationships as North American girls.
