does anyone think the boss lady person(wit the glasses and blue hair), sounds like asuka from evangelion?(dub)

and i have an idea that rio sounds like serena from sailor moon(dub)

I haven't seen eva...yet, but most of the voice cast was recycled from Gunsmith Cats. Rio was played by Amanda Winn, who did Rally in GSC, and the lady boss was played by Marcy Rae, who did Radinov in GSC. There are others as well, and from other posts in this forum, there are a lot of Eva voices in this.

Yes, Amanda Winn played Rei Ayanami. There are some other voices from Evangelion as well. This is all because they were dubbed through the same company

first time i read your statement i was like wtf, because i never thought rei's voice actress was the same as the energy-filled rio. i remember hearing her voice in episode 26 of Evangelion, when rei exclaims and isn't all shy/quiet.

most companies use one voice studio...ADV, chances are if you think it sounds familiar and it is from another ADV release, well it is the same, all the companies do it to save costs, they recycle their talent

Maki was done by Tiffany Grant, who also did Evangelion.

Yeah, I noticed so many eva voices and a couple from BJC (but then again some BGC are in eva) it like a reunion. Still thisis being rather picky, maybe if the subtitles were done A LOT better on the DVDs I could bring myself to watch them subbed.

Well, I think it's because it's the same company that ran Eva, so seems only logical to keep people you worked with.

Yes, I do remember… In Shinji's inturmintality, the parellal universe that is… Rei's voice of brassness… Did remind me of Rio…
