The 'old NES trash' awards 2001!

Ok, it works like this. Basically, just name your favourite junky NES game. You know, those games that aren't that great, are really crappy, but for some reason you play them anyway.
My vote goes to 'Karnov'. It's an old side-scrolling platformer about a fat Russian who shoots fireballs at (as Lowtax calls them in 'Dance Dance Karnov') a masturbating green fish and evil Yoda in a nest. Fascinating tripe, it is. :p

Yeah, we played that a lot with a friend of mine, still haven't beaten it.^^; Though i saw my cousin beat it, jumpin' to remove both shredder's helmets seemed hard. *_*

I just completed the original NES Metal Gear, and I have to say I loved it. Can't really nominate it, 'cause it's not 'trash' as such... but it sure was glitchy. :eek:

Something that's just pure cr/\p is Final Fantasy II J. I've played every FF and that's the only one I've actively disliked. Steer clear of this one, it's just tedious and the system is rubbish.

Turtles was fun. I remember I beat first in 3rd grade. Sometimes I pull it out and beat just for the hell of it. Its still fun to play. Same for punch out. I don't have Mike Tyson PO though. Thats hard to find. I got the one with MR. DREAM.

I'd have to say Rush N' Attack. This game was fun in a contra sort of way. I just realised something about the title though. It seems like anti russian propaganga doesn't it? :lol: russian attack? It was released in the mid-80's.

Ack, i still haven't managed to beat Mike Tyson in Punch Out, he's just so damn hard with his dynamite punches. Ah, at least i managed to beat Karnov... now i'll have to remember with my own eyes that darned Bayou Billy game. Argh i hated this game with a passion, i was never able to get past the first bunch of enemies.

he used to scare the hell out of me when I was a little kid. I would jump whenever I saw him throwing a punch because hes so fast. Now hes nothing. Mr. Sandman is probably the hardest one for me. Stick and move and join the nintendo fan club mac.:D

I downloaded Bayou Billy and a few other games..

Damn i remembered right, Bayou Billy WAS ------- HARD! Though i managed to get past the first few bunches of enemies now. :D I also got TNMT2 because i remembered i loved this game so much when i was young, and damn its harder than i remember it to be, i used to get far in it playing multiplayer with my cousin.

Ice hockey rocked! :D I remember i nealy always took a team of big bullies.. a friend of mine also had the strategy of taking the brown guys because apparently you couldn't see when they had the puck. :heh:

Naw, it's just that Nintendo had the oldest system, and some of the games on the NES REALLY, REALLY sucked. :p
