Who here has seen(or read) Weiss Kreuz? What did you think of it?
If you own any episodes or manga, where did you get them? (i need to get both of these that's why i'm asking)
And the ever popular: Who's your fave character(s)? and Why?

If you can think of anything else you wanna say 'bout Weiss Kreuz, go right ahead!!

I've seen Weiss, and I really enjoyed it. I thought the story was well structured and the music was great. The voices are also great. ^_^

As for where I got it, a friend of mine copied her fansubs for me. However, since Weiss has recently been licensed, all fansubs have been taken from distribution, or they should have been. I don't know how to get the manga, except for looking online.

Favorite character....hmmm.....as far as the Weiss boys go, I'd have to say Yoji is my favorite, but he's followed very closely by the other three.

As far as Schwartz goes.....Schuldich, then Crawford and Nagi. Farfello is....weird.

Don't really have reasons behind it all....I just like them.

Edit: I heard the animation wasn't the best, is this true?

Weiss Kreuz. Nice character designs... nice seiyuu... perfect for the fangirls, horrid for the fanboys. :P

Oh screw it, I thought the show was decent. While the animation is as bad as people say ("if you thought Trigun was bad at times..."), it still doesn't really make too much of a difference. I thought the storyline was sort of lame... or maybe just the execution made it seem that way but then again, I'm no expert judge.

Manx, Aya and Ran are cool. :D

I'd only pick up the DVD if there were more than 4 eps an episode, otherwise... there are much better things to spend your money on. ^_^;;

I was going to get this cute little set of WK pins... but then I saw some OP stuff at the store so... ^_______^;;

N-ways, I spent nearly a fortune on the Newtype artbook, the filmbook and the TV animation soundtrack. Not to forget the posters. ^^

I really love the series, maybe even a bit obsessed with it. The series is just fab and the mangas are much better. I cannot wait until they're released here in Germany. :look:

I'd have to include the sadistically wonderful Brad Crawford in my list of favorite characters too though. And I'm the only person I know who likes Sakura and Ouka, everyone else seems to find them really, really annoying. Bah.

Anyhow, I own the 2001 calendar (purty, purty calendar...the posters from previous months are hanging up around my room) and a Ran pin. I'm sadly lacking in Weiss junk. *sob* Next time I go out to the bookstore though, I'm making some purchases.

And yes, the animation sucks at times. At a lot of times.

I think I was scarred for life by the OVA -_-;; I swear my heart stopped toward the end.

I like Sakura and Ouka just fine. They provided good, well-rounded supporting characters. ^_^

I'm also sadly lacking in Weiß merchandise (all I have are the fansubs at the moment) but hopefully that will change.

Yes, the OVA was freaky, but man was it cool!

Well i might as well answer my own questions now ;)

I haven't seen/read any...yet.
I don't own any Weiss Kreuz stuff...yet! I just found out about it 2 weeks ago...(i know i'm so very slow)

My fave Weiss character:
1. Omi
2. Ken
3. Aya
4. Yohji
My fave Schwarz character:
1. Nagi
2. Schuldich and Farfarello
3. Brad
In those orders...although these things might change after i actually see the series... :)
I don't really have favorite Schrient characters yet...

Yay! Another person who doesn't hate Sakura and Ouka!...erm, cool.
The OVA -was- really great and all, but for like two hours afterwards I had goosebumps. The big fight scene was -so- convincing...

Oh, I forgot to mention Schreient...uhm, Tod's retarded. Neu is rad. The other two are okay, but unmemorable.

MeilinRei, you seem to like the "nice" characters best ^^ I tend more toward the sadistic bastards and/or mentally-unstable antiheroes myself...*whistles innocently*...and then there's Yohji, who's neither "nice guy" nor crazed psycho...he's just a 'ho. But I still love Yohji. He gets all the best lines of the series.

Snowcherry: yea i do like the "nice" characters :) well...usually they're my fave characters anyways. I also like different ones too (like farfie and schu-schu.) but the cuteness and innocence of the younger "nice" characters is just so adorable!

well i really like Weiss Kreuz. I think the animation is not that great - but nevertheless it DOES NOT make WK a less enjoyable series =)

if you get the chance (for people who haven't seen it) - it's a series definately worth checking out - interesting storylines and likable main characters

i really like the music from this series also... (Beautiful Alone and Velvet Under World ^_^)

my favourite characters?? hmm i have to say i like all four of the boys - but if i had to pick, probably Aya and Yohji (and possibly Ken also). Omi is cool - but i tend to like the other 3 better.

Ken is my fav. No offence to anyone who likes Omi but "Shorts" is a joke. Omi is always wearing shorts....and shorts or swartz cracks me up. Then one of my friends decided to add something to shorts. Ken usually wears that orange sweater aroud his waist so she though of "cheesy shorts" heehee well thought you wanted to know but I guess ot :sulkoff:

Me and my friend have had many conversations about Weiss's taste in clothing.
Has anyone seen the picture where Omi is wearing a pink shirt. *shudders* and everyone else doesn't look any better, IMO. That is one scary picture!
