Why's it called Trigun anyway?

I've seen the whole series and I still can't figure out any reason for the show to be called Trigun. Did Nightow think it sounded cool or something? Anyone know?

His first gun is obvious :|. His second gun is his first arm, which he gets upgraded when he goes back to the ship. The third gun is his second arm; the one he uses to blow a hole through the moon... called the Angel Gun if I recall...

Second is in his fake arm, little Machine Gun
The Third is his greatest weapon the Angel Arm, if you have read this, I'll let you figure our that it can destroy a city in, woops! :lol:

or you could also consider wolfwood's cross as the third weapon since vash uses it when he fights knives.

The first is his revolver, the next would be his arm-mounted cannon which is replaced by the arm mounted machine gun, and the third is his Angel Arm which forms from his arm and his revolver.

For a long time I thought Trigun was the name of the planet for some reason...what IS the name of the planet anyway? Gunsmoke?

I think that 'gunsmoke' thing came from the Kaiyado figures. The Trigun line IS called "The Planet Gunsmoke". But knowing the Japanses culture, they'll stick any words in to a title if it sounds neat.

I can never find the McFarlened Vash. I've only seen a bunch of Akira figures and ONE Ryoko.

the vash one is god-like. there's a pic of it that came with my akira dvd, which reminds me i have to watch that again. it said you can find it at spawn.com

I love the way that his metal chain is only attached by one point, so you can drape it over him how you want. I've got mine just as they had it on the box. :)

i was thinking the same thing when i saw that thing, it's freaky. he still looks awesome though. mcfarlane also just finished one of armitage from armitage III, she's got the black wings and arm cannon. it looks awesome.

Personally, I wish MacFarlane would make anatomically correct Utena and Anthy figures, complete with detatchable hands that could be swapped for other hands in various 'convenient' positions. :D

Yeah I got the McFarlene Vash! It's awesome! But what's with the chain with the cross? Does Vash not look enough like a badass without it? And for some reason the gun arm (left) won't hold in normal mode...other than that...LOVEANDPEACE!
