He was dating Mamimi before he left. After that, she got closer to Naota. As far as I can tell, that's about it for relevance.

I think it was a Medical Mechanica warning beacon. It went off every (nearly every?) time a robot attack erupted.

i think its just a different weapon.. instead of a sword or a club, a guitar. i think its clever... and the enemies are the MM... im not to sure why they are the enemies tho...

To tell the truth i think she just went around and hit random people on the head with her guitar until she found the right indivisual....
in episode one we find out that naotas dad got hit with her vespa as well and probably got banged in the head with a guitar too... but he wasnt capable of generating the little portal thingy like naota was....

how did she find them?.. lucky guess?... nah she probably just used her "influences" over certain high ranking indivisuals that its hinted she has located around the globe... aka ammaro and the like...

rewatch episode 4 i think it was... the first episode with mr eyebrows he explains the reason why the robots come out naotas head its just realy hard to catch the first twenty times around...

hmm interesting theory you got there.... i always just thought that the big ol iron was medical mechanica itself or at least one of its sub companys.... didnt haruko even try and infiltrate it?.... doesnt make sence to try and break into a warning beacon....

i just figure thats where they made the robots that came out of the naota and USSR girls heads.... and the sirens going off were escape whistles?... *shrugs* i dont know makes sence to me at least...

You're right, she did try to get in there once. Why...I have no idea. But if it was associated with her enemy, then you'd think she would want to check it out before they found out who she was.

And the only basis for my belief that furi kuri means "ass-groping" is from the 1st manga scene.

Conrad explained this pretty well... no need to go into details. but you know the space in between the right brain and left brain? well... the space is a portal that only some people can have utilized once their skull is softened.

well Naota mentioned that it was wrong to think of his brother when he saw Canti in action. this was to keep us guessing... guessing that maybe canti could be Naota's brother... but you look back on the series and realize it was just something to throw you off.

his revelance was I think just to tie Mamami to Naota... but not directly, and to have some funny way to have them relate

Hrrrmm if you remember ep6 you will see that the irons were used to terraform the planets into vast wastelands (or whatever they were.. maybe in a new OVA series or something we could see)

There is no actual meaning to furi kuri, in episode 1, during the manga scene, Naota says he doesn't know what furi or kuri means. And in episode 6, Naota says it has no meaning after his father suggests that he shoul know as he is the main character.
Guitars are used as weapons for the same reson that Medical Mechenica uses a large iron and a disembodied hand as a weapon. They are more of a figure or abstraction of power and destruction. The iron isn't the MM base, it's actually the weapon MM uses to wipe out planets. It was shown in one of the scenes with Amaro at the headquarters where disembodies hands push several irons along a planet's surface. The guitars most likely relate to the use of heavly guitar dependent music and the significance that music plays in the flow of the series. Naota's ability to create a hyperspace channel in his head is most likely a direct result of him having a lot of activity at the path between his two brains, which would be significantly reduced in older people like his father. The abstractions for weapons, the hyperspace channels, the heavily guitar dependent music all relate to the interaction of the left and the right brain in processing information. While things like furi kuri would have no meaning in just the generally dominent left brain, which processes in a more logic based method, it can have and develop more meaning when processed by either just the right brain or an interaction of the two brains with a dominence of the right brain, which doesn't necessarily need coherent, "meaning begins here and meaning ends here" type logic generally found in the left brain to process information.

but some of us are trying to pretend we know what we are talking about and your blowing our cover with these hard questions damnit !!.....

i realy am not sure as to why them MM angels er... robots..... atack out of the blue....
but i sure as hell can speculate !..
Haruko is after Atmosks power (or his love) and Atmosk had been captured by MM and been kept in that big ol iron over yonder....

MM's ultimate goal was to destroy the earth for its resources or whatever... (ep.6) ..... but to do that it seems like it neaded two things...
1. a robot to pick up the iron and activate it as a weapon....
2. someone with a transdimentional portal thingy in there head so there robots could get out of the factory that had no entrances or exits...

haruko made the second thing posible by reapeatitivly whaking naota in the head with her lawn mower guitar.... all because she wanted atmosk and didnt realy care about the world..
atmosk ended up being trapped (imprisoned?) inside canti but only apeared when canti swallowed up Naota..... haruko sticks around with naota for this reason and fights them other robots so she can keap naota alive long enough to steal atmosks power...

you most likely know all this so to make a long story short why are the MM angel like things atacking........ because of haruko.
that and everything i just said up there that i just now forgot....;)
however they also would have probably attacked eventualy anyhow... she basicaly just helped the proccess along... by making the portal.

damn i know your confused as hell now because ive just confused my self as well....
oh well *shrugs*
