Red a la season 1?

Anyone know what Naota's father was talking about in the beginning of episode 5, after the flashback begins and before the challenge, when he mentions something about his jacket. He says that it's red a la seaon one, and somethig about midori from season two and something about a Mister Monkey.

He's talking about Lupin. Lupin is a series about a theif called Lupin...duh. Anyway, Lupin wears a Red Jacket in the first season, and a Blue one in the second...or Vice Versa...

Lupin is also known as Wolf in the American dubs of the series...IE Castle of Caglyostro.....

Oh... and the Mr. Monkey thing... the original comic was called Monkey Punch. Don't really know why though
