Who else is a big fan of the manga? it's definately one of my favorite manga!!! I collect both the english and japanese versions, and it's really great! What's one of your favorite stories out of the manga?
Manga manga manga! I like the manga! I have never actually seen much of the anime ever. But I think if I had to choose one of my favorite parts or books or whatever, I couldn't. All of it is really great.
I love the manga! although Ive only read up to vol 10 (english ver)
Theres so much more depth to the characters in it then in the anime, which is normal seeing as theres 22 manga volumes vs. 5 OAVs ;)
As for my favorite part, theres so many to chose from...
I guess I'd have to say the Miss Keiichi story :) (my brain might be subconsciencely infuenced by the "Miss Keiichi Returns: fanfic though :heh: )
I haven't really started reading the manga yet :sweatdrop...
What I've seen of it, it looks awesome though.. and I'm sure gonna get it whenever I get cash ^_^...

The manga is schweeeeeeeet! I love the manga where Skuld learns about love and falls in love with the kid with the bike (damn I forgot his name).... it shows her maturing. So kawaii!

The kid with the bike is Sentaro:). Notice Skuld falls for a guy suspiciously like Keichi..........
My favorite storys so far would have to be 'the Lunchbox of Love' one-shot, the story-arc with Skuld, Sentaro, and Skuld's angel Noble Scarlet, and most recently 'another me', about Urd and her Angel.
Oh and then there's the one where Stringfellow the broom falls in love with Belldandy! "If only she would sweep with me.............."

:redhot: I swear to god that Manga 23 has been due out forever now! :bawling: Yes ladies and gentlemen i am referring to the raw (not the darkhorse comics) manga. I want my Manga 23!
Thanks Yui_Reborn... As always you come through and strike up an interesting comment!
IMO I think it was only natural for Skuld to fall for someone like Keiichi... after all when everything was messed up in heaven and Bell-chan was sleeping, Urd was getting younger, and Skuld was getting older... it was somewhat cute and obvious that she doesn't really hate Keiichi. :D
And this reminds me..... i haven't read through the mangas in awhile. :sweatdrop:

I've really enjoyed the OAV so far, so it sounds like I should check out the manga. One things stops me, however. I know for a fact Dark Horse cut out several chapters at the beginning. It skips right from the very first one to Urd's first appearance. This entails a loss of at least 4 chapters, I imagine, maybe more. My questions, then:
1. Does anyone know how many chapters were cut and what happened in them? (I imagine its missing the scene where they move into the temple, Megumi and Sayoko's first appearances, etc, but I'd appreciate confirmation, as well as any scenes I've missed.)
2. Does Dark Horse have any plans to publish these chapters at some point, either in a restored edition of the first volume or a 'lost episodes' collection?
3. How much of it has been released in the US? 50 percent? 25 percent? Less? More?
Ive managed to find an enlish version of the missing chapters, but im not sure what exactly happened in those ones :heh: Im pretty sure that there's nothing essential in them, it dosen't take out Megumi and Sayoko's first apperances.
As for you other questions, I remember reading that they don't have any plans on releasing those chapters. :(
Right now they are pretty much at 50%, but at the rate their producing them, i think they're losing ground.

They're up to (them as in Dark Horse) Volume 14 or 15 last i checked. The manga is up to 22 (and 23 if it comes out this year. ARGH!) So they're not to far behind. Anything that they've cut out they are releasing as "The Lost Chaptors" or something cheesy like that. Thats my two cents.
oh i have about 5 or 6 manga so far, and i want more, but it sometimes so hard to get it! i don't have a favorite part or anything cuz its all really good but i like it a lot k? ciao~

In this chinese book store I went to, I noticed that they were completely up to date with Ah! megami sama (the ones translated into chinese) It made me sad because they had the one's I've been needing, but I want to collect the Japanese ones...so i didn't get any....:(

That was a very ...interesting scene.
So far, I'm only reading the English graphic novels so I'm REALLY behind the fans who can read the Japanese volumes. I'm still harping over "The Fourth Goddess" while posters over at this A!MG board I go to are talking about Hild and Rind.

I've really enjoyed the Manga, have the Dark Horse version upto The Forth Goddess and the first three Bilinguals. I just wish Dark horse would speed their release schedule a bit, as I'm egarly awaiting Childhood's End.
Fave Story, I have several
The Lord of Terror comes first, with some classic Skuld moments,
then comes The Devil in Miss Urd, the Urd/Skuld dynamic was good for me.
On the whole the manga is very good, and gives a unique view of the world that is enchanting, very funny, and reminds us that we all are special.

37 days till Childhood's End! I'm really looking forward to reading that as I'm sure many of you are. The whole idea of Skuld having a possible love interest makes for a great story. :) Then we get to wait another 6 monthes or so for the next TPB. At the rate Dark Horse is going, I'll be out of college by the time they get around to the Evil Belldandy arc that I really wanna read. :(

Ah, then you'll flip over the scene where Keiichi sees Belldandy and Chihiro kissing each other! :eek2:
It's after Hild's appearance, though, so a while away.

I especially liked Skuld's rocket launcher, and the expression on Devil Urd's face when she first sees the rocket locked onto her seal sphere!

And that's what OMG is all about, really. :D
