I dunno, but it sounds not quite right. I mean, not exactly sounds... but then:

Aya is only 16 years old
while
Tooya is already 20+ years old

Tooya's too old for her maybe? Furthermore she gets pregnant at such an early age...

i think when it comes down to it - Yuuhi and Chidori would have been a good couple in my opinion (although Chidori dies and Yuuhi still has a thing for Aya - regardless).

Erm, I dunno why everyone is so bashing on Aya and Touya... I mean, Touya's so cool... Whether Yuuhi's cooler or not doesn't matter, it's that it seems Aya is made for Touya and vice versa. C'mon, you can't say they aren't a cute couple, and they lived long enough together to know that they are perfect to each other...

IMHO, if they've reached enough of a mental stage in their lives where they can "be" together, there's no problem. After all, Aya and Tooya both are young adults so there's no problem despite their age as they've both reached an adult stage mentally.

It's isn't about Toya, it's all about Yuuhi. Sorry all you Toya fans! I dunno, I just don't like him. Yuuhi is so much more better for Aya! personally, i think aya and tooya should be together, for the sole reason that they deserve eachother. I've never been a fan of either of them, and throughout the series I hit highs and lows. The highs were when I didn't mind their characters, the lows were the parts where I was screaming get them off the screen. *sighs* I don't know why... it just sort of happened that I developped a chronic dislike for the both of them.

Meanwhile, I completely support the Yuuhi/Chidori pairing. I think they make the cutest couple in the world, and that Yuuhi is way too good for Aya.

So yeah, sure, let Aya and Tooya be together. As long as Yuuhi gets paired with someone else I'm fine.

Although he did sort of get the girl in the end, when Tooya told him to take care of Aya after he died. She was just a bit used that's all :D. (heh, sorry, that was mean, but I couldn't help it.)

Anyway, they were made for each other, literally. If you've seen all of the anime, you know what I mean. SPOILERS (mana hagoromo destiny birth crap...)

Yuuhi and Chidori are also more fitting. Besides the real paedophilia issues, in a few hypothetical years it would be all right. They're both sexually obsessed with their love interest (who are different people unfortunately), so yeah, they're real cute together. And if two people are mature enough to make the decision, then whatever. (Cmon you KNOW Chidori isn't as sweet and innocent as her youthfulness implies. That's some perverted stuff she jokes around with Yuuhi. NOT that funny IMOP.)
