Why do anime guy's noses bleed when they get horny? I think Keiichi has to be the nosebleed champ of all anime.
Just like when western people get horny, We see a train going into a tunnel.......Sorry, that's the best i could do.:( :(

Perhaps it's because they get over-excited...
...You know, their heart pounds so fast that their blood pressure rises until they get a nosebleed.
Supposedly it's a much more common phenomenon among the inexperienced...

Nose bleed=Nervousness. Basically Keiichi gets nosebleeds b/c he gets very nervous being around Bell-chan (Who wouldn't be around a gorgeous woman who just also happens to be a first class goddess. :D ).
I think I agree with cloakactive... Nosebleed = Nervousness.
Poor nervious Keiichi-san.

RE: So Full of Mercy
You're such a naughty boy!
RE: cloakactive
I think it isn't due to nervousness; although that is a really good theory none the less.
In another anime, a guy got a nosebleed in a situation where he really shouldn't have got nervous at all. There was this situation where a guy was sitting alone in a pool, overhearing sounds in an adjacent pool that appeared to get him aroused and then he got the nose bleed, sighed and submerged under the water. (Perhaps, most of you have already guessed the scene. It's Tenchi listening to Mihoshi's response as the baby tries to nurse in the OVA Hello Baby! episode.)

Okay I know exactly what a nosebleeds are in anime
It is said in old Japanses lore that if a boy or man ever stared at a pretty women he would get a noseblees. So the bloody nose in manga and anime is associated almost exclusively with men looking at scantily clad and undressed women. Whether they are exterely lustful idoits like Ataru in Urusei Yatsura or shy gentle fellows like Hasukawa, whom Sumire hugs in Here is Greenwood, Blood flows.

Black_Knight,
I found the source for your comment. It's from The Anime Companion (Every Thing a Fan Needs to Know) page 141
BLOODY NOSES AND SEX
[...]
But the best response I got was from one fellow who simply recounted that when he was a child he was told by his mother that if he stared at a pretty woman he would get a bloody nose. So the bloody nose in manga and anime is associated almost exclusively with men looking at scantily clad and undressed women.Whether they are exterely lustful idoits like Ataru in Urusei Yatsura or shy gentle fellows like Hasukawa, whom Sumire hugs in Here is Greenwood, Blood flows.
This device can be useful for writers who want to add humor to their work, and that is how it is used again and again.

There's a good online index for this book at http://www.koyagi.com/ACPages/acn.html that's where I looked it up.
You know what, we could really use a nosebleed smiley for this forum.

Hey I used it since it's a great source, and for a bloody nose face we need a Hentai/Ecchi forum first.

"Hey I used it since it's a great source"
Ummm, when preenting other people's ideas, you're supposed to give a reference. (Besides giving references makes you look smarter and well read.)
"and for a bloody nose face we need a Hentai/Ecchi forum first."
No need for that. Oh My Goddess/Tenchi/Kimagure Orange road/Here's Greenwood/Yatsura all have bloody noses but aren't Hentai.

It's true. I often get a nosebleed around beautiful girls. It comes right after the punch she throws for hitting on her..... or is it her boyfriend/husband/leabian-lover...... I can't remember. Things tend to get rather hazy after they happen...

Screen caps or not, that site is against forum rules because of the ads and other material hosted there. This is an official warning, and is going to be noted.

It did seem a bit stupid that a fairly mild screen caps anime site would be hosted at such a location. Perhaps that guy is really naughty?

Unfortunately porn is all over the internet. As is advertising (Just look at the phone ads that pop-up when you come to this board.)
But, the line between porn and relatively innocent anime "Cheesecake" is often blurred. Let's face it, there's a lot of really bad stuff in anime and in other media. It's consumption, a matter of choice. It's art form, as old as humans themselves. To place such a link is little more than bad judgement, but not criminal. Slap the wrist. Send him to bed without supper and ground him for the rest of the week. :nono:
Now let's continue and play nice, ok?
