Big O; Best Mecha design since EVA?

What are your thoughts on this?

I may be the only one on this whole entire forum that thinks this, but BIG O IS THE MOST SPIFFIEST ROBOT/MECH/GUNDAM/GIANT TOASTER I'VE EVER SEEN! i've said this before, but i love it because it reminds me of a killer type writer... seriously. Everything inside of the mech has retrotechnology all over it!

In my opinion, the Big O's mecha design is not great. It looks awkward and damn weird looking. I think Eva's mecha design is better.

No, no and no. I find a mecha with a nose, not right. Second it's finishing move is the same every time. Thrid I think this show is a scifi take off Batman. Forth, I hate the animated Batman. Fifth, it was able to beat a better modle of itself and that's not right. Sixth, the series lacks any type of anime charm. Just looks like computer drawings. No heart to it. Seventh, I just don't like it…

I like it, it's very unique. Having only seen Gundam and EVA mechs, I can't say that Big O is the best but it is up there. I think that the nose makes it look like a giat statue, giving it quite a bit of uniqueness. Oh and Black_Knight, The Big O often finishes it's enemies off differently, sometimes it uses it's fists and somethimes it uses the chrome buster (laser) and I think I saw one where it used it's chest missiles.

I'll agree that he uses that laser attack way to much, but he does not use it in every episode as his finishing move. Try episodes 1, 2, 6, 11, 12, 13...

Your third argument is garbage. Yet another example of someone who hasn't watched much of the show thinking because he's a black haired man in a black suit that has lots of $, he's Batman. Then why doesn't he wear a costume? Why aren't the villains cliche buffoons like the riddler, the penguin and the joker? Why isn't he cold hearted like Batman? The action is through mechs in Big O, not people! Shut your mouth.

Batman the animated series? I could care less, considering it has nothing to do with Big O.

As for your fifth argument, you're saying since he won the fight being a superior pilot to Schwartvald, the show sucks? To use Eva yet again; Unit 01 beat better versions not once, but twice.

It lacks any anime charm? Why? Because it doesn't look like the tradional anime? Too bad. Most animated features these days use computers. The animes in Lunar the playstation game is just one example.

Beside, a major reason why I hate it is it's amount of cheapness, that her cheapness, that's why I comparied it to btman. He's got that type of cheapness.

In any case, the Big O robot looks like a transformer on crack. Its style is reminiscent of an old-fashioned train as someone earlier mentioned, and in all the bad ways. It's proportions are ATROCIOUS, it looks like it was painted by a color-blind retard, it's a terrible conglomeration of the worst mecha the world has ever seen...If I met the mecha designer in real life, I think I would bend him over and lodge my shoe up his poo-hole.

Well, know that I think of it… Evangelion Unit-02 and Evangelion Unit-03 were not better models, but they each have different statistics… So because an Eva is newer doesn't mean they are better in every asspect, Like the M-77 from Black Magic M-66
