Wow... yet another example of someone who hasn't even watched the show bashing it. .

1.It is a horrible imitation of Gundam Wing.

Yep, Big O sure looks like a Gundam. I guess all mecha shows like Eva and even those that came out before that ubber cool show with heeeeeeeeerrrrrroooooo are clones of gundam wing.

2. Roger Smith wears a weird suit that is well.... weird.

Except your father probably wears the same suit when he goes to the office.

3. Roger Smith's name is just too average for anime, I mean you can't compare it to "Gene Starwind" or something else cool. (I'm not insulting people with the first name Roger or the last name Smith!)

Jim sounds like a pretty common name to me. Iris too. And Clyde, and so on...

I thought the BGM was great. Granted, not as good as Gundam or Escaflowne's, but still pretty good.

All right, I had enough of this. To all you people who say it looks like batman, or is a tribute to western animation, You should listen to this. When Batman and Superman aired on the WB, the animation was done in both America and Japan. Just read the credits and you'll see. The reason it looks like Batman is because it's done by the Japanese division of the group that did Batman's artwork. I know, I've checked. It is not a tribute to western animation, it is the artist's drawing style. And who cares if it looks like batman!? Escaflowne and Trigun are two completely different series, genres, and whatnot, yet they're done by the same artist, and I'm sure there aren't any complaints about either of them regarding that fact. Cities will get destroyed in any anime. Powerpuff girls is an anime spoof, in case you haven't noticed, so buildings get destroyed more often in it. If you don't like Big O, fine. If you want do diss it, I could care less. But find a good reason to dislike it or find fault with it rather than the fact that it "looks like batman" okay? NOw, if you'll excuse me, I'll be busy counting the money Sheex gave me for posting this rant:D

Now, don't get me wrong, this series looks like a good one, but I totally understand where this guy is coming from. When a series comes out with a large fanbase that you just absolutely hate, it grinds you inside over and over. Reasons you don't like it obviously aren't enough to convince people who like it since... they like it. He probably has a lot of friends who likes this show while he hates it, and they always just shrug off why he thinks it sucks. It's just like, "Well, if you don't like this, how the hell could you like this???" After all the major reasons are gone, and even a pile of dung has a limit of bad things about it, you start going to the more minor details, which is seen as nitpicks by fans and hence what you see.

You guys probably haven't had this happen yet. It will... and then you'll feel like making a website telling the world that it suckssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. It's like that with me for DBZ, I've considered buying dbzsucks.com just to do it.
