In the episode where Omoikane 'rebels' (Those Unforgettable Days) and starts targeting Earth Defence forces, Jun takes an Aestivalis out and gets severe whiplash when he's struck by a Batta. This is attributed to his not wearing a flight suit at the time.
In the talent contest episode (You're the Next Captain of the Nadesico!), Ryoko gets into a blue funk and takes off in her Aesti, to get into a battle with the new Jovian manned missles. She's battered around and comes out fine, even though she's only wearing short-shorts and a tee-shirt.
Super-sturdy bone and muscle structure, or continuity flaw? You be the judge...
Well all I can think is that Jun was fighting in the Earth atmosphere and thus was subjected to the Earth's gravity while Ryoko was in space, in a zero g environment.
Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

Okay from my limited understanding of physics, the lack of gravity doesn't matter because what causes you to black out is the forces caused by acceleration. As a result, Ryoko going out there and making hard turns and hitting the throttle will cause her to experience various forms of g-forces caused by acceleration (which is the change in speed or direction).
So yes I believe its an error. But then again its not like anime is sound from a scientific standpoint anyway.
Who cares I got to see her fight in Langerie!:naughty:

Hey man, I don't know what the ladies over in the UK wear, but I'd hardly call that thing lingerie. I mean, its the female equivalent of a "wife-beater". Granted that may be a US-centric name for those ribbed cotton undershirts sold in packs of three, but it tends to be pretty appropriate given the only place you see them on TV is on some guy getting hauled off by the cops in the middle of the night.

More specifically, they have to be tank tops without sleeves- otherwise you can't get a good windup going...:D
For one thing, Akito said it was Langerie and that's the closest we'd ever get to seeing Ryoko fight in Langerie unless it was hentai.:(
Getting back to the point, could it just be that Ryoko is a more skilled pilot. After all she didn't receive an implant just to impress some girl. Like the whole episode shows, she's a fighter.

I also don't think Ryoko slammed into the Nadeisco either.
My 2 Cents

Thats just ADV Films perverted minds at work. They worked in a bucnh of perverted comments that were not suppose to be there. Watch the subtitled version of that scene and you'll find out that Akito didnt even mention what Ryoko-chan was wearing, he comments on the warm glow she has. Ryoko gets embarressed and knocks Akito off into space.
You'll have to say that is was pretty good though.:D
