Blood: The Last Vampire

I've seen some articles about this anime and it looks great in my opinion. It kinda look's like Kite with the acception of probably even more blood (I know that's hard to believe) and Vampires (of cource). My question is, does any one know when it comes out because I haven't seen it out yet. Thanx ahead of time.

I've seen it and its pretty good.
It has a dark atmosphere to it and the animation quality is top notch!
My only problem with it is that its only 48minutes long, and they therefore don't explain much.

As for your question, according to Amazon, the DVD comes out on the august 28th, although I would't recommend buying it due to its length.

hehe, I've seen it a couple of months ago. It's pretty cool (blood, gore, guts, and lots of killing), but it's a little too short though; it's only 48 minutes. Other than that, me likes :D

I haven't seen it yet... I missed the damn screening at Manifest *kicks wall*... Well MAS might be showing it soon so then I won't have to fork out 30 or so dollars... YAY!! :beer:

I've seen it. REALLY good animation, but WAY too short. Very like Kite in that respect. I keep hoping that maybe there will be a sequel, or maybe a full blown series... but I doubt it.

I'd love to see a Sawa/Saya movie... that would kick ass. :)

Yeah,I've seen Blood twice at Sakuracon 2002.To be honest,I loved it too bits.Animation,sound,atmosphere and overall coolness was all there.Yeah,it does run a little short because the story isn't supposed to be completed in the movie.There's also a novel,some manga(including a hentai ;) ) ,and a PS2 videogame.I hope theres chance that they will be released in the USA also.

Anyway,I've got a fat wad of cash in my pocket that's just itching to get it hands on the DVD :D

So far the only place I've seen it (in the shops) was at Sanity (for those who reside in Australia) not unless if it sold out everywhere else but I'm guessing JBs should have it.

I think it's worth getting just to check out the CG and animation quality but the story is extremely lacking and WAY too short.
The DVDs have notes about Saya's past and why they didn't include that in the actual film I find puzzling as it would have made it very interesting.
Does anyone know if there's another one? Cause the notes also mention that Saya reappears in the year 2000 but it doesn't say why or for what reasons.

I liked it quite a bit. It comes out on DVD on August 28th, if you have a Best Buy near you they have in their Sunday ad for the week Blood on sale for $15.
