First time i saw an Big O episode... i just thought it was some low quality crap made by Americans... but i knew there were Japanese Characters in the Credits....

Excuse me? Your point being? Can you even make sense with your final sentence? What do you mean? Are you bashing all american art, or just Big O's which is a homage to american animation? Please, do us all a favor and extend your post to actually make a point. You saw one episode, cared only about the animation, which is still a hell of a lot better than many other shows, and base it all on that? How about you try watching the rest of the series! How about you try paying attention to the plot and characters! And above all, how about actually thinking before you post! You thought the animation sucked, wow, big deal. If you didn't like the animation and based your opinion of the entire series on that, then I dont' see why you can't just forget about the thing and go back to posting about how mondo cool Krillin and Bejita are. I don't go into your DBZ forum or whatever other anime you like and bash it with stupid posts where I can't even spell, so why don't you follow the same policy?

You should be able to tell a Japanese animated series and an American animated series by the finish on the animation. The Japanese ones will in general be smoother and have clearly delineated parts. American ones will in general have rougher edges and somewhat blended or blending parts. It will not look as sharp in terms of overall quality of the animation.

Gizmo, you shouldn't mistaken Big O as an American attempt to become the next in animation. You should ALWAYS be aware of the finished work before you pass judgement on it.

Next time, be more careful on your comments and clarify specifically in detail if possible.

Perhaps you would be jumpy too when you post in a forum for a show you think is pretty good, then every other day some lam0r steps in and has a 2 sentence post like "I haven't seen this show, but since Roger Smith looks like Batman it sucks" or "I saw the first episode and BIG O SUCKS MONKEY BALLS" Whats probably even worse is that these guys never return; they make one post then never even bother to check replies to their topic. And when you act like that, I don't care what anime you're talking about, YOU DESERVE A FLAMING. You don't see me acting like that, do you? I don't go into for example, the Card Captor Sakura forum and since I've seen only a few episodes say "CARDCAPTORS IS SUCK AND I THINK EETS A POKEMON COPEE". Yet its okay when someone steps in here and starts spouting off things like that without getting flamed? Too bad!

Above all, lets talk about something other than Roger Smith's resemblence to Bruce Wayne, okay? If you don't like the show, thats fine, but actually explain yourself instead of acting like the typical idiot. Watch the entire series (which shouldn't be difficult cause its so short) and try and tell me why Big O is a Batman clone outside of the fact that like thousands of other people, Roger Smith is a black haired man that wears a black suit and lives in a mansion. Bruce Wayne's not the only other one you know ;)

Why was this threat created? That's not flaming or anything I really don't know what the topic of this is...:confused: I mean if all you had to say was that you didn't like the animation you could of picked one of many posts that have similar things rather than starting a new one. I mean let's try and keep this forum clean and somewhat orderly. That's what message boards do...you make one topic and then everyone posts from there...it's not let's make our own topic forum. Alright...now I'm getting sarcastic.

As for the animation...well I actually like it. I mean it's not Escaflowne (even though their noses are huge I still thought it had quality written all over IMO), but it isn't half bad either. Granted I've seen better mech designs the whole thing works. Amazingly it works quite well IMO.

This is probably the jumpiest I've seen them in the forum. I don't blame them though...if I had enough time to come to the boards more often (also the fact that since I've heard of the Tenchi novels most of my time has been spent finding out stuff about that...however that's a totally different subject) I'd probably flame too.
